Benetti celebrated the launch of M/Y Iryna, a 66-meter custom yacht, at its Livorno shipyard on July 19th. This event marks the debut of the B.Now 67 family. The ceremony was attended by the owner and his family, emphasizing the ongoing relationship between the client and the shipyard.
The B.Now 67 family represents Benetti's latest range, combining advanced design and construction techniques. The owner’s decision to continue with Benetti underscores his confidence in the shipyard’s ability to deliver high-quality yachts.
Daniela Petrozzi, Benetti’s Sales Director, expressed gratitude for the owner's trust and praised the design team for their contributions. “We’re excited to announce the launch of the first yacht in the prestigious B.Now 67 collection. This event marks an extraordinary milestone for our shipyard and our esteemed owner, to whom we are deeply grateful,” Petrozzi stated.
RWD, the UK design firm responsible for the exterior styling, highlighted the yacht's elegant and dynamic design. Mark Gardmer, Head of Exterior Design at RWD, noted the yacht’s graceful lines and Italian flair, which together define the B.Now series.
Arcon Yachts, representing the owner, highlighted the successful collaboration between their team and Benetti. "We are proud to have successfully completed another purchase for our repeat client, working closely with Benetti to build Iryna to the highest standards," said a spokesperson from Arcon Yachts.
The yacht’s exterior features the innovative Oasis Deck® concept, designed to enhance the aft cockpit with a built-in pool and a 270-degree field of view, transforming the space into a social hub. The hull and superstructure are finished in three shades of grey, complemented by extensive curved glazing that covers up to 70% of the vertical surfaces.
Benetti’s Interior Design Department, led by Mariarosa Remedi, crafted the interiors with a focus on bespoke details. The owner’s preference for Visionnaire furniture is evident throughout the design. The interiors are finished with untreated leather, curly maple wood, macassar ebony, and marble-effect ceramic tiling, chosen for its ecological properties.
Iryna’s six decks include a main saloon, a full-beam owner’s suite, two VIP cabins, and four guest cabins. The yacht also features wellness areas such as a sauna in the beach club and a gym on the main deck. With a steel hull and expansive outdoor and indoor spaces, Iryna is designed to accommodate up to 15 guests.
Benetti aims to deliver Iryna to her owner by the end of summer, completing the project in under three years from the initial design concept.
