The 110 metre Anna, a flagship of the Dutch shipyard Feadship, has returned to the brand’s Amsterdam facility. Maintenance works ahead of summer season will take place one year after the yacht’s launch.
As commissioned by her owners, the four-deck displacement yacht will undergo several “minor works” before heading off on her first summer season of cruising.
Pier Posthuma de Boer, Director Refit & Services at Feadship, comments:
It is self-evident that the best place to have a refit or rebuild carried out is by Feadship or one of our four partner yards within the Feadship Services Network. We are pleased to see that an increasing number of Feadships are also benefiting from the added value of having us take care of maintenance work as well.
First known as Project 1007, the vessel has steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Designed by Michael Leach, with naval architecture by De Voogt Naval Architects, Anna was built to Lloyd’s Registry standards.
She boasts an outstanding curve in the exterior design, connecting the main deck with the upper deck. Hatches in the topsides hint at a side-loading tender garage and a fold-out superyacht beach club, although those features are yet to be confirmed by the yard.
Michael Leach Design and Brian McCarthy Inc. were responsible for the interiors, capable to accommodate 18 guests in 6 cabins.
Trademarked with a top speed of 18 knots and cruising speed of 12 knots, Anna spent her maiden season in the Caribbean.
Anna remains the largest Feadship superyacht launched to date and is the second longest superyacht built by Dutch yard, seconding to 110.1-metre Oceanco Jubilee. Other recent notable projects by Feadship include a 93-metre Lady S, getting ready for launch at the same facility in Amsterdam.
