156m Dilbar has now officially become the world's largest yacht by volume. This follows Lurssen confirming the yacht's gross tonnage of 15,917 tons. The yacht therefore tops Al Said's 15,850 tons and Azzam's 13,136 tons.

With a beam of 23 meters and a deep draft of 6 meters, the yacht's exterior was designed by Espen Oeino. Dilbar can cruise at a speed of 22.5 knots thanks to a diesel electric power plant installed onboard. Cabling used on board stretches over 1,100km.

The displacement yacht has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, its interior was done by Andrew Winch Designs. Guest and owner's spaces total a combined 3,800 square meters of living space.

The 156m Dilbar was built for Russian billionaire, Alisher Usmanov, as a replacement for his previous 110m yacht which has now been renamed to Ona. Amongst the yacht's most alluring features are its two helipads, one on the bow, and one on the sundeck. According to Lurssen, the entire contract for the construction of Dilbar stretched over only 52 months.
Cantiere delle Marche announced that explorer RJ 130 has been successfully launched.The exterior and interior of RJ range were designed by Francesco Paszkowski and naval architecture by Hydro Tec. The 40m explorer can accommodate 12 guests and seven crew members.“The RJ range of yachts is definitely a game changer for CdM. The 1930’s yacht Atlantide was shipped from Newport, United States, to the Netherlands, and arrived at Royal Huisman’s headquarters in Vollenhove in the first week of 2021. Following the 2020 refit by Huisfit of Jim and Kristy Clark’s famous J-Class yacht Hanuman, and with three newbuild orders already completed by Royal Huisman in the recent decades (Hyperion in 1998, Athena in 2004, and Hanuman in 2009), the owner of this 37m classic motorsail yacht, Dr. Jim Clark, decided the same craftsmen and women are best suited to take on this new project – rebuilding Atlantide at the Royal Huisman.Atlantide was designed by naval architect Alfred Mylne and built by the British shipyard Philip & Sons in 1930. The Royal Huisman’s team has an established successful track-record with the restoration of classics, conversions, and rebuilds of historical yachts: structural work, updates and conservation work are all embarked on with keen interest and great skill. The ceremony for the Baglietto’s Hull Number 10238 keel laying, the first of 52m of the new generation of TLine yachts signed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, took place just before the Christmas holidays.The 52m Hull No. 10238 is a yacht that draws inspiration from Baglietto’s tradition – preserving its most classical stylistic features – but reinterprets it in a modern, contemporary key. The stern has been completely restyled and is now open, with a beach club on three different levels. The large pool can be “hidden” by an original up/down moving flooring system. Inside, the salon’s floor-to-ceiling glazing ensures a constant contact with the sea even when living indoors. The sky lounge on the upper deck can be opened on three sides. A retractable ladder directly connects the sun deck and the upper deck at the bow, making the latter a natural extension of the former. The yacht will be equipped with a standard hybrid propulsion system that will allow one to choose a more efficient navigation mode, reducing both costs and environmental impact. When cruising in electrical diesel mode, the T52 will have a range of up to 7,600 nautical miles and will be able to remain at anchor for up to ten hours just using batteries. Azimut 53 will make its official debut early in 2021. This new yacht from Azimut will compete in the mid-range Flybridge market segment. The yacht’s flowing lines hide surprisingly spacious interiors, making it perfect for a family who wants to enjoy long cruises in absolute comfort.The exterior design, by Alberto Mancini, is characterised by a sophisticated aesthetic. The elegant interiors are designed in a contemporary style by the Azimut Style Office.The generously proportioned day area is laid out on almost the same level, with the galley near the entrance and the living area separated by a difference in height of just 25 cm. The surprising sense of airiness and freedom of movement that this creates is enhanced by side windows that run uninterrupted, with no uprights, from right beyond the entrance area to the windscreen. As a result, natural light and the view over the water are the undisputed protagonists of the yacht, adding to the pleasure of spending time on board.The storage spaces, the depth of the armchairs and sofas, and the galley appliances have all been studied down to the smallest detail to ensure functionality, comfort, convenience and durability.The master stateroom amidships offers a full-height space. There are a lot of storage spaces in the suite, including a walk-in wardrobe.The lobby has been carefully designed to create space for a washer-dryer machine plus storage space without reducing the surface area of the third twin-bed cabin, while the partially verticalized bow makes the VIP cabin particularly roomy, with much more storage space and distance between the bed and the bulkhead than the market average.The exterior area is very convenient, with a long and comfortable L-shaped sofa in the cockpit. The setting can also be fitted with a bar unit with ice maker and bottle chillers.The foredeck and flybridge sunpad cushions have a shape, thickness and size that are an anthem to laziness and very hard to resist. The naval architecture, developed by the Azimut-Benetti R&D team, combined with the choice of a propulsion system featuring two Volvo Penta IPS 950s, ensures not only more volume on board, but also comfort, efficiency and manoeuvrability.
