Van der Valk, the Dutch yacht builder, has provided us with the construction update of its fourth Continental Three yacht. According to Yoeri Bijker, marketing manager at Van der Valk, the vessel was already sandblasted and preserved directly after the marriage. Now the shipyard has started both the application of filler to the exterior and the interior insulation works.

Measuring 26m, the vessel has been styled in and out by Guido de Groot. The Continental Three yacht is a raised pilothouse project. The master stateroom is located forward and fitted with a double king bed, en-suite bathroom facility with walk-in shower and a study area.

As for the guest accommodation, it is spread over the lower deck and comprises 3 staterooms. The Continental Three yacht also has 2 crew cabins situated forward.

The interior of the vessel will mainly feature teak and other woods to create a warm and welcoming ambience. Her highlights include al fresco dining for 8 guests, stainless steel doors, L-shaped sofas, two large sun beds and lounge chairs.

Performance wise she is expected to provide a top speed of 25 knots and and a cruising speed of 20 knots. Fitted with two MTU engines with a maximum of 1502 hp each, the Continental Three yacht will also feature a Naiad 302 fin stabilization system and two 26kW Northern lights generators on board.

In November the Dutch shipyard has introduced new BeachClub 600 motoryacht and received two new orders for a 26m Raised Pilothouse and an 18m Flybridge.
