Antonini Navi, an Italian shipbuilder, has reached a significant milestone by completing the hull and superstructure of a 55-meter superyacht, which is believed to be the first unit in Tankoa's T55 Sportiva series.

The sale of the hull was announced in February 2022, and construction commenced in November 2022, following the initial unveiling of the Sportiva line six months earlier. Constructed using a lightweight aluminum alloy, the hull boasts a 499 gross tonnage (GT) and a beam of nine meters. These components are expected to be handed over to Tankoa for further completion, with delivery slated for August 2024.

The T55 Sportiva series, designed by Luca Dini, is characterized by an athletic and low-profile design. She features an open-air beach club with a swimming pool, connecting the main and lower decks to create an area of "pure enjoyment," as described by the shipyard. Guests can access a spa area on the lower deck, which includes a semi-submerged Nemo lounge, further enhancing the luxurious experience.
Accommodation on the yacht is arranged in a six-cabin layout, with the master cabin featuring a private indoor-outdoor fixed terrace on the starboard side. Within her 499GT footprint, the superyacht also incorporates a bridge deck that can be transformed into an open-air cinema, as well as tender stowage on the bow.

Antonini Navi's CEO, Simone Antonini, emphasized their capability to build yachts for well-known international brands, showcasing their expertise and potential in the market. Over the past three years, the shipyard has successfully completed five steel and aluminum units ranging from 45 to 58 meters, including both metal structures and pre-fitted parts.
In addition to the T55 Sportiva project, Antonini Navi is also engaged in building a 45-meter motor yacht in collaboration with designer Fulvio De Simoni, named Island. This model will be based on the UP40 platform, catering to units between 40 and 45 meters in length.
