Dutch builder Royal Huisman has revealed the first photographs of its 55-metre superyacht project Phi taking shape at Vollenhove facility since February 2019.
Project Phi features fast-displacement aluminium hull, which turning is scheduled for summer 2019, while the vessel’s complete delivery is awaited in 2021.

According to the yard’s information:
The resulting hull will provide a comfortable and stable platform for this radical and high performance vessel, notwithstanding the relatively narrow beam that contributes to Phi's striking looks.
Further details on the yacht’s exteriors by Cor D. Rover and interiors by Lawson Robbare are kept in secret. Still, it is known that Phi will feature extensive external deck space relying on Golden Ratio proportions. According to the builder, Phi is the formula that governs continuation of dimensions and shapes in natural proportions throughout the design.

Van Oossanen Naval Architects took responsibility over Phi's naval architecture The yacht deploys Van Ossanen's Fast Displacement XL hull form, coming in just under 500 GT. Speed wise, Phi will reach her top speed at 22 knots, gyro-stabilised for additional comfort.
With the owner’s brief prioritising the interior spaces, Phi will be capable to host a total of 12 guests on-board, with staff quarters big enough for 11 crew.

More details on the project will be released later. Meanwhile, parallel to construction of one of its flagships, Royal huisman has expanded its premises, moving into new facilities in the Port of Amsterdam.
