Benetti is reaffirming its dedication to a sustainable lifestyle by announcing the construction of eight hybrid units in its B.Yond and B.Now lines. In a recent press conference held at the Hotel Hermitage Monte-Carlo, just after the successful Monaco Yacht Show 2024, Benetti shared exciting developments with international media and industry brokers, encapsulating the essence of its identity as "The House of Yachting."
CEO Marco Valle opened the event by highlighting the Group's remarkable performance in 2023/2024, achieving revenues of €1.3 billion and a robust backlog of €2.6 billion. These accomplishments set the stage for projected growth of 15% for the upcoming yachting season, bolstered by a substantial €160 million investment plan directed towards strategic priorities between 2025 and 2027. Daniela Petrozzi, Benetti Sales Director, confirmed the Benetti division's impressive status, boasting an order backlog of 58 units totaling 30,900 GT.

Commitment to Sustainability
Focusing on sustainable innovation, Benetti has integrated advanced electrification systems designed to reduce fuel consumption by up to 20%. The company prides itself on having the largest hybrid range available, with 90% of its models offered in hybrid or diesel-electric configurations. Key initiatives include Power Management systems that optimize onboard electrical loads, heat recovery technology, and advanced direct expansion air-conditioning systems – all contributing to a reduction in service consumption by 40%. Additionally, Benetti has partnered with ENI to use HVO biofuel for its operations, leading to a reduction of 1,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year.

Benetti's commitment to environmental responsibility is further exemplified by the standard installation of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) systems in yachts under 500 GT. This proactive measure, though not mandated by law, is projected to reduce NOx emissions by 2.5 tonnes per yacht annually, allowing access to marine protected areas, as communicated by General Manager Massimo Casoni.
During the press conference, Sebastiano Vida, Benetti's Head of Product, along with key designers, showcased the latest innovations: the B.Yond 40M and 57M models, the Motopanfilo 45M, and the new B.Loft project.
