The largest hybrid yacht, Benetti’s Luminosity has been seen in Monaco. She will stay in Monaco for the F1 Grand Prix until Tuesday. The 107.6m and 5,844 GT giga yacht is well matched with the Grand Prix, both testaments to the achievement of cutting-edge propulsion and material technology.

Many F1 enthusiasts choose to be part of the Circus onboard of a yacht, but for this purpose, Luminosity is a great choice. With a 3MWh battery pack all the main systems can run throughout the event (up to twelve hours) without having to switch on the generators.

Peace, quiet and comfort are realized onboard Luminosity, with plenty of space to enjoy the fresh air as well. Should it be necessary to leave the event early, the giga yacht can even sneak away without disturbing her neighbors, navigating in full electric mode with a range of more than ten nautical miles. Added bonuses of this futuristic functionality include a much faster startup time and exclusive access to SECA environmentally protected areas, which are known for undisturbed natural beauty.

Founded in 1873, Benetti is the oldest Italian shipyard specializing in luxury yachts. Benetti designs, builds and sells composite vessels from 29 to 44m and steel and aluminium boats from 37 to over 100m. The fleet consists of five categories: Class, Oasis, B.Yond, B.Now and Custom to meet all the needs of the market. Benetti belongs to the Azimut|Benetti Group, the largest privately owned luxury yachting group in the world.
