The time for cryptocurrency in the superyacht market has come. The 40.2m yacht Oryx has been sold by Edmiston representing the seller and Juan Andrade at SuperYachtsMonaco introducing the buyer, who decided to pay in Bitcoin through the service provider Bitpay.

Oryx was launched by Benetti in 2013 and became the second hull of the new and highly advanced Benetti Classic Supreme series. Her exterior was made by Stefano Righini. She has a GRP hull and superstructure and spacious decks with a double spa pool, perfect for enjoying the sunshine with family and friends. Full height windows on both the main and upper deck provide the interior with great light.

Her interiors were updated by Francois Zuretti in 2018/19, Oryx’s large main saloon is a combination of walnut joinery and a light color scheme adds to the sense of space. It has a 50-inch full HD TV with surround sound system and large sofas. A second saloon is located in the sky lounge on the bridge deck and features a bar and a six-seat gaming table to port.

The yacht can accommodate 10 guests across five staterooms, including a full-beam owner’s suite.

She offers plenty of possibilities for outside relaxation. For example, the 10-seater alfresco table is located at the aft bridge deck lounge, and a bar and sun loungers situated at the sun deck.

Oryx yacht is built to RINA class and powered by twin 1,450hp MTU engines. She has a top speed of 15.5 knots and a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.
Oryx’s last known asking price was EUR9,900,000.
