BF104 M/Y Lejos 3, a 38 meter superyacht from Benetti's Fast line, has been launched on Tuesday, May 23 at the Italian shipyard in Viareggio. The vessel is the fourth Fast 125’ unit to be built by Benetti. Fitted with the innovative Azipull Carbon propulsion system, she will be delivered to the owner in the coming months.
38.1m long and 8.23m wide, the layout is divided across four decks, featuring four VIP cabins, an owner’s suite, a saloon/dining area on the Main Deck and another smaller living area on the Upper Deck. There is also a Sun Desk, which is designed entirely for the entertainment of guests, who can enjoy the Sun Deck's standard swimming pool or the larger custom pool in bow of the Upper Deck.
The sleek, sporty exteriors are designed by Stefano Righini, and the interior spaces by Redman Whiteley Dixon. These interiors are based on Benetti's Air configuration, the most contemporary of the three interior decoration options (Air, Land and Sea) offered to Benetti Fast 125’ owners.
The Azipull propulsion system has been developed jointly by Benetti and Rolls Royce. Designed specifically for Fast 125’, the system delivers excellent performance in terms of both weight reduction and handling. The technical innovations installed on-board include the D2P_Displacement to Planing® hull – designed by Pierluigi Ausonio in conjunction with the Azimut Benetti Research & Development center – with wave piercer, which allows the yacht to be used both in displacement mode for reduced consumption at low speeds, as well as in planing mode at higher speeds.
The launch of the M/Y Lejos 3 comes just a few days after the market debut of M/Y Skyler, the third unit in the series, that joins the M/Y Ironman and the M/Y Constance Joy, respectively first and second hull of the Fast 125’ line.
The news comes weeks after the Italian shipyard announced the sale of 47m superyacht FB703 and launch of 37m Lady Lillian.
