Permare Group and designer Luiz De Basto, who penned the exterior and ‘clean and elegant’ interior, revealed the newest superyacht Amer 41 Steel during the Monaco Yacht Show. Construction of the new Amer 41 Steel Explorer Yacht began in Permare’s Pisa shipyard in July, the yacht is scheduled for delivery in the beginning of the 2025 for a repeat client of Luiz de Basto, the ex-owner of the 47 meter Far Far Away. Let’s take a closer look at the concept.

The Amer 41 Explorer Yacht will have an innovative hull in terms of shape and technology with an advanced new propulsion system able to reduce consumption and emissions while guaranteeing silence and comfort on board. It is also fitted with a new system for launching and towing tenders quickly and safely, which is fitted to the owner brief, who wanted to have space for two eight meter tenders. The naval architecture was entrusted to the Italian company, Optima Design.

Instead of a beach club, which the family did not use much on the last yacht, the family asked for more attention to the flybridge and extend it as much as possible.

Amer 41 Explorer Yacht can accommodate 10 guests across five cabins and eight crew. The yacht will be equipped with Volvo Penta D 13 IMO III engines which will give it a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 11 knots.
Amer Yachts was founded in 1990, when the Permare Group began to build boats with this brand destined to quickly become synonymous with quality and customization. The founder of the company is the Amerio family. Over the last 40 years, the Permare shipyard has created handcrafted products considered niche, with over 80 yachts tailor-made for Italian and international clients.
