Turquoise Yachts has announced the sale of 87m custom superyacht Project Vento. The 2,500GT Project Vento will be featuring the exterior and interior by H2 Yacht Design. The collaboration between the Turkish shipyard and British design studio is based on the previous successful experience – the 77m Go, which was launched in 2018.
"This will be my ninth new build with Turquoise and we are still working with the same team of engineers and designers which guarantees a consistent level of excellence and reliability acquired over the many projects we have delivered together," says Jonny Horsfield, H2 Yacht Design founder.
The yacht’s naval naval architecture has been made in-house, the exterior is characterised by soft lines with the hull colour Tour de France Blue. Project Vento key features a 6.5m pool, a touch-and-go helipad that can be used as a basketball court and outdoor cinema. The yacht has an open spiral staircase located in the centre with a lot of natural light in the inner space, the owner suite will be situated on the upper deck, and guests will be accommodated on the main deck.
"Working on majestic projects like Vento is always rewarding: the level of planning, commitment and dedication from all parties involved is very special and with that, the grand results are even more fulfilling," says Patrik Von Sydow, chief executive of Turquoise Yachts.
Project Vento is set to launch in 2024 and will become not only the shipyard's flagship, but also the largest motor yacht built in Turkey so far.
Turquoise was established in 1997 by two leaders of the Turkish boat building industry: Proteksan Yachts Inc. and Turquoise Yacht Construction. After launching the 50m M/Y Turquoise (now called Double Trouble), 20 other megayachts ranging from 40m to 77m in length have since been delivered to an international roster of clients from the United States, United Kingdom, Europe and Russia.
