Spanish yacht design studio Daroca Design has joined forces with Lateral Naval Architects to reveal their latest concept: Mirage, an impressive 83-meter superyacht concept that pushes the boundaries of traditional yacht architecture.
The collaboration between Daroca Design and Lateral Naval Architects incorporates the innovative Free From Bulkheads platform developed by the latter group. This groundbreaking platform allows watertight bulkheads to terminate at the lower deck, revolutionizing the design process and offering unparalleled freedom in superyacht architecture.
Mirage embodies a minimalist design concept that seamlessly blends with the surrounding landscape, providing the owner with a deep connection to nature and an immersive experience of the sea. The exterior renderings showcase sleek lines of reflective glazing, a semi-opaque stern, and a striking metallic hull and superstructure, drawing inspiration from the mesmerizing visual illusions of its namesake.
The superyacht can accommodate 10 guests across five lavish cabins, with the four guest cabins located in the stern of the yacht on the lower deck. The master cabin features a skylight positioned next to the mast silhouette.
The main deck aft serves as the central convivial area, boasting a well-appointed bar, comfortable U-shaped sofa seating, and a spacious swimming pool. Additionally, a tiered mosaic plunge pool complements the deck above. On the lower deck, the main saloon offers 270-degree ocean views, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls connected by three sliding doors, allowing for a seamless connection with the surrounding environment.
Among the onboard highlights is a full spa located forward of the main deck, providing a serene retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation. Furthermore, Mirage features a helipad positioned on the bow, ensuring convenient access for the owner and guests.
Mirage stands as the second-largest concept crafted by Daroca Design, following their unveiling of Equilibrium, a 105-meter champagne-green explorer yacht concept in 2021.
