IYC brokerage has announced the sale of the 47.5-metre Bilgin superyacht Lilium. The vessel’s premiere took place during Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show 2019. The vessel asking €24,500,000 at the time of her sale, is now renamed Snow 5.
Snow 5 was launched in Turkey earlier this year as the second yacht in Bilgin's 47.5-metre series, after her sistership Starburst III (ex. Nerissa). Built of steel and aluminium, Snow 5 is a four-deck full displacement yacht of 494 GT. She features exterior design by Unique Yacht Design and interiors by H2 Yacht Design.
Snow 5 was initially named after the beautiful white flower since her interior has light colours. Besides bright colours in the living areas, the yacht’s main difference from her sistership Nerissa is certainly her galley. The layout changed in order to make it easy for the crew to move around without coming across with the guests. There is a pantry located between the galley and the living room.
The vessel offers accommodation for 10 guests across a master suite and four spacious guest cabins. The master suite comes with in-house designed headboard, a skylight elevated above the bed and a balcony overlooking the water. Marble-decorated bathrooms of each cabin meanwhile add luxury feeling to the area.
Two key guest spaces are the main saloon and the sky lounge surrounding a stunning art-like staircase. The latter reflects light from the sundeck Jacuzzi connecting all decks of the yacht. The sundeck also embraces a seating area with a large fold down television, a bar, sun loungers and a cabana. There are also a formal dining for twelve, skylounge with a large al fresco dining table and sheltered outdoor movie area to be found on-board.
Conceived as a world traveller, Snow 5 boasts a maximum speed of 16 knots with a range of approx. 5000 nautical miles on cruising mode, thanks to twin MTU 12V 2000 diesel engines.
Meanwhile, Bilgin Yachts is currently constructing three units of the 80-metre Bilgin 263 series. The first hull of Bilgin 263 is expected for launch later this year, with to others to make their debuts in 2020 and 2022.
