Italian Baglietto has announced the second launch of the year: the 41m Francesca II (hull #10242), hit the water last Saturday. Francesca II features a strong exterior design by Francesco Paszkowski Design who also signed the interior in collaboration with Margherita Casprini and naval architecture by Bacigalupo. Her bold, streamlined profile is enhanced by the champagne shade of the hull.
Thanks to two sliding doors, the main deck has been devised in such a way as to ensure a harmonious continuum between interior and exterior areas. The latter is brightened by the natural light flowing through two ceiling-high windows, which also ensure a wonderfully close contact with the sea even when living indoors. The pilot station can be found forward of the main salon. A second pilot station can be found on the fly bridge. The outdoor aft cockpit hosts a lounge area, while the sunbathing area on the aft swimming platform is perfect to relax by the sea. Another sunbathing area and a second conversation area have been set up at the extreme bow.
The yacht features a personal layout – all cabins have been arranged on the lower deck, including a master cabin located amidships. On the same deck, closer to the stern, are the crew quarters. The aft garage, which opens on one side, is used to store a tender.
Fitted with 3 MTU 12V2000 M97 engines and 3-hydrogen propulsion system, hull 10242 can reach an impressive maximum speed of 33 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots.
“This is a unique yacht characterized by a very high level of customization and impressive performance thanks to her 3-engines and 3-hydro jet propulsion system shipyard, Francesca II marks another important step in our long history and confirms our world leadership in the construction of highly performant aluminum yachts above 40 meters in length. A segment in which Baglietto has always strongly believed and been a pioneer,” comments Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto’s CCO.
