AB Yachts, a brand of Next Yacht Group, presented its new 37 meter AB 120 Beach model. The yacht features AB Yacht’s signature high performance coupled with an increased focus on alfresco living: it can reach speeds of 45 knots and equipped with a new design developed around a large open aft deck.
Use of a mix of glass, carbon and honeycomb sandwich construction combined with an optimized hull form and waterjet propulsion resulted in a yacht that is lightweight, yet durable.
A draft of 1.35 meters allowing her to cruise in shallow-water regions including the Bahamas or Sardinia.
A large open beach club area on the aft can be further extended with unfolding bulwarks, converting the space into a large terrace. The 50 square meters space includes a hot-tub for up to five guests. A spacious flybridge equipped with a “cinema under the stars” set-up.
AB Yachts said the design has been optimized for an owner who “loves slender, sober lines: the interiors bring back to life the colors and memories of the Bahamas, and soft shades and atmospheres pervade the entire yacht”. Both the interior and decor of a boat can be customized to fit to the wishes of her owner.
The yacht has a spacious double-volume living space that connects the main deck saloon to the saloon below deck. Convertible gym room and a custom-built bar are a nice addition.
Float-in garage at an aft deck can accommodate an impressive arsenal of water toys and tenders.
The first order for the AB 120 Beach was finalized in February 2022.
Italian shipyard AB Yachts was founded in 1992. In 2001, AB Yachts was acquired by the Fipa Group. Today Next Yacht Group is the owner of the historic Maiora, AB Yachts, and CBI Navi brands. AB Yachts range consists of semi-displacement yachts from 17.70 to 42 meters.
