Italian Wider and Pajot Custom Yachts have revealed an entry-level model eco-catamaran, the 27m Eco Yacht 88. The first collaboration that was presented by a duo in 2020 was Eco Yacht 115 and Eco Yacht 145 followed after that. For the Eco Yacht 88 a naval architect Nicolas Fauroux came on board. The catamaran is equipped with a diesel-electric propulsion system and has 50 sq. m of solar panels to drive at energy-efficient technology.

A boom-less rig and sizable mainsail helps the catamaran to achieve an average speed of 10 to 12 knots.

Because of the full-beam superstructure, Eco Yacht 88 has a spacious layout. The catamaran can accommodate eight guests, including a panoramic master suite with the lounge and a hot tub. The two VIP cabins with private terraces are located on the lower deck. A large main saloon, semi-open galley to port and a home cinema starboard and a beach club.

The Eco Yacht 88 is priced at EUR8,300 000 and could be delivered in 2023.
Wider was founded by Tilli Antonelli, who started his own company after resigning from the Ferretti Group. The first Wider 42 was launched in 2010. The Wider 150 was launched in October 2015 and was named M/Y Bartali. The Wider 165 was launched in May 2018 and she has recently been awarded by Boat International World Superyacht Awards and won in the "Displacement motor yacht between 300 and 499GT – 48m and above" category.
