The Naval Yachts XPM series is built to safely cross high-latitude regions and oceans. The Turkish shipyard builder just added a 23.9m catamaran to its naval explorer XPM range. The XPM 78 CAT with its wide living space, is capable of meeting all the demands and needs of adventure-loving sailors who want to take trips to many countries from Greenland to Canada.

The naval architecture and exterior was made by Michael Schutte, the modern interior penned by Karine Rousseau.

In marine vehicles, XPM series produced with Marine Grade Aluminum, which is accepted as first class in the world, is designed in accordance with the special requests and customers needs. The vessel can accommodate eight guests on board.

The configuration consists of two master cabins and two VIP’s. Also the layout provides one crew cabin. Saloon has been specifically designed by keeping XPM 78 CAT outstanding stability performance and nice look. Saloon height and inner volume height have also been raised. In the saloon, the ceiling is 5 meter high and it has an inside balcony with a panoramic view in the saloon. There is a huge aft deck area and two swim platforms where guests can enjoy the sea with family and friends.

In terms of performances, the catamaran will be equipped by John Deere 500HP x 2 diesel engines and Twin Disc Gear box. This configuration gives a cruising speed of 9 knots and maximum speed of 14 knots. The parallel hybrid propulsion is optional. Also the XPM 78 CAT will be equipped with 50 sq. m solar panels which generate 12,5 kw/hour. If considered as 6 hours of efficient sunlight in a day; the solar panels generate 75 kw/day which is not only enough for house load but also enough to load the Lithium batteries.

This first hull is scheduled to be delivered this June.
