On July 9, 2024, Camper & Nicholsons New Build Division announced the delivery of the 24-meter Codecasa yacht, Vero. Managed by Daniela Duck and Sara Maggi, with senior advisor Carmen Lau overseeing the project, the vessel marks a significant milestone in the division's portfolio. The project began in 2021 when Lau introduced the client to the concept yacht during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Vero, designed by Luca Dini Design & Architecture, is a blend of classic aesthetics and advanced technology. Constructed entirely from aluminum, the yacht features vintage mahogany touches and is powered by 1550hp MAN V12 engines, achieving a top speed of 25 knots and a range exceeding 2,000 nautical miles.
The Codecasa Shipyard Builder’s Team, led by Project Manager Roberto Dalle Mura, played a crucial role in the yacht's construction, supported by Ennio and Roberto from Codecasa. The collaborative effort resulted in a vessel that balances style and functionality, now set to navigate Asian waters.
Camper & Nicholsons provided comprehensive services throughout the project, including flagging, insurance, and ongoing yacht management, the latter to be handled by Shek Fung, Fleet Manager at Camper & Nicholsons Asia. The yacht is set to leave the Mediterranean soon for its journey to Asia, where it will be eagerly welcomed.
