During this time, the Dutch shipyard has repeatedly updated its lineup and is doing it again. The Dutch manufacturer of luxury yachts AMELS has sold a new 62-meter superyacht - AMELS 206 from the AMELS Limited Editions series. An owner from the Asia-Pacific region will receive a yacht in the spring of 2020 and plans to go on a cruise around the world. The Tim Heywood’s avant-garde exterior of a modern five-deck vessel harmoniously combines with a magnificent functional layout The latest design of the Limited Editions superyacht combines classic solutions with the latest innovations, which also contribute to low noise and vibration. “The AMELS 206 is a proven performer and a real headturner,” says AMELS and Damen Managing Director Rose Damen. “She is a beautiful yacht with striking curves. We’re proud to be completing this yacht for our client and can’t wait to see her on her maiden voyage next year.” The superyacht has a sophisticated design and comfortable layout with 6 cabins on three decks. On the bridge deck there are 2 VIP cabins, and on the lower deck there is a “beach club” with direct access to guest cabins. A bathing platform of 29 m2 allows guests to relax in comfort thanks to the new design of the aft. On the left and right side of the ship there are folding balconies that add even more open space. The owner chose an elegant color scheme in collaboration with exterior designer Tim Heywood and the AMELS design team - a light gray hull and a white superstructure. With a length of 62.4 meters, the Amels 206 superyacht has several notable features. Firstly, the swimming platform turns into a springboard. Secondly, the transom door opens and demonstrates the space of a 35 m2 beach club, gym, SPA complex or another: the space will be used as the client wants. While the helipad for helicopters with a take-off weight of up to 3000 kg is not used, guests can enjoy the comfortable C-shaped lounge area in the bow. The garage for 8-meter and 6-meter tenders and water toys is located under the lounge area. AMELS 206 is designed to accommodate 14 crew members with one service technician. The huge interior spaces of the yacht offer luxurious accommodation for 12 guests.
