Commissioned as a support vessel to Endeavour for America's Cup challenge, she was meant to carry Endeavour's larger rig to allow the sailing yacht to cross the Atlantic more easily on her own. Thomas Sopwith then sold the yacht to the King Haakon of Norway.Norge is a 80.00m (262.46 ft) luxury motor yacht. She was built by Camper & Nicholsons in 1937.
