Yas Marina of Abu Dhabi has officially opened bookings for the 2019 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, marking the start of the winter yachting season. Yacht owners are invited to secure their trackside spots before August 31, in preparation for the UAE capital’s biggest event that will take place from 29th November till 1st December, 2019.



The grand finale to the world’s most spectacular racing series returns to Yas Marina Circuit to fit in the selection of track, and non-track view berths for yachts from 10 metres up to 150 meters in length. 

Situated on Yas Island, the 227 wet-berth marina, with additional 97 dry-berth facilities has been host to some of the world's largest superyachts. In celebration of the eleventh edition of the iconic race, the F1 berth packages include generous allocation of Yas Marina guests and crew passes based on the boat size, along with other privileges. 



In addition, top international headline artists are expected, with previous concerts including the likes of Rihanna, Pharrell Williams, Jay-Z, The Weekend, Guns N Roses, Sam Smith, and Pink.

The marina is also home to a range of nine licensed international restaurant and bar experiences, including Italian fine dining at Cipriani. Over the race weekend the marina welcomes nearly 24,000 party goers, celebrating the weekend in style. Yacht guests can also enjoy onboard catering, servicing, and delivery as they host and party into the evenings.



For visiting yachts, Yas Marina’s facilities include an onsite foreign flag vessel clearance, assistance with maritime regulations and navigation licenses, petrol station and bunkering for larger yachts, electricity supply from 16-1,000 amps, fresh water supply, assistance with maritime regulations and navigation licenses, marina wide Wi-Fi, waste disposal, and black and grey water pump out. 

Yacht owners and crew can also take advantage of the technical and haul out facilities at nearby Mussafah Port, which are competitively priced at up to 15% cheaper than European facilities. 



The 5 Gold Anchors awarded marina aims to become an ideally located homeport to further explore the region after the Formula 1 race. The port lays in the heart of Yas Island, offering easy access to other attractions with internationally acclaimed theme parks Ferrari World, Warner Brothers World, Water World, leisure destination Du Arena, links golf course, private beach clubs and the capitals most preferred shopping and entertainment destination, Yas Mall. 

Abu Dhabi city is also situated close by, representing home to historic sites, heritage attractions, world class golfing and polo events, and iconic landmarks.

Benetti has launched FB287, a fully customized 67-meter steel yacht from its B.Now series featuring the Oasis Deck® design. The vessel represents Benetti's steel-hulled superyacht expertise, with exterior design by RWD and interiors by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design. The 35.51-meter sailing yacht Kiboko 4, designed by Nauta and built by Southern Wind, has been named "Sailing Yacht of the Year" at the 2024 World Superyacht Awards. This marks the second accolade for the SW108 series, following the recent regatta victories of sistership Gelliceaux at the St Barths Bucket and Ibiza JoySail events.Developed with naval architecture by Farr Yacht Design, Kiboko 4 was conceived to deliver optimal sailing performance while maintaining comfort for both competitive racing and leisure cruising. The owner's specifications emphasized enhanced speed, superior handling characteristics, and versatile functionality across different sailing conditions.The yacht's exterior showcases Nauta's signature GT styling with clean, modern lines and practical deck arrangements. Notable features include a composite coach roof with distinctive lightning bolt detailing, a color scheme pairing a dark hull with light grey superstructure, and an innovative transom that converts between tender garage and beach club configurations. Winch Design Unveils Interior for Ninth Amels 60 Limited Editions Hull
Winch Design has revealed the interior of the ninth hull in the Amels 60 Limited Editions series, developed in collaboration with Dutch shipyard Amels. Launched in 2019, the Amels 60 offers semi-custom construction with full-custom flexibility, balancing reduced delivery times and personalized design. The exterior was designed by Espen Øino.Winch Design previously handled interiors for Come Together, hull three and hull six 21.12. Come Together received a World Superyacht Award and an ISS Award in 2023.The ninth hull’s interior draws inspiration from the Pacific Islands, with each deck reflecting different natural elements. Materials include wood, stone, plaster, and leather, complemented by marble accents. Carved wood flooring in the beach club reinforces a barefoot-living concept, while curved forms and a soft palette promote relaxed sophistication.The lower deck features warm, earthy tones reminiscent of sand and forests, while the main deck incorporates oceanic blues. A central staircase, inspired by Pacific rainforests, connects the decks and leads to a bridge deck designed to evoke tropical greenery.“We created a refreshing interior derived from the Pacific Islands, with a focus on vegetation, the ocean and the sky,” said Jim Dixon, Managing Partner & Creative Director at Winch Design. “We started with a neutral and natural canvas and created unique features such as a back-lit onyx wall with an internally illuminated sculptural staircase column.”Hull 6009 remains under construction, with delivery scheduled for 2026.
