5 yachts were presented this year in the Displacement Motor Yachts Between 1,500 GT and 1,999 GT nomination.

# 1. Attila Attila is a 64.25m luxury yacht, built by Sanlorenzo and delivered in 2019. She can accommodate up to 12 people with 18 crew members.

The yacht has a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure and was built at the La Spezia factory.

She was designed by Officina Italiana Design, and the interior design was created by Francesco Paszkowski.

The outer lines are taken from Officina Italiana Design with key features, including a 78 square meter beach club on the lower deck and aft central deck. The courtyard sought to highlight a double staircase that connects the pool and dining room to the beach club. The beach club is equipped with a sauna, hammam, massage room and gym.

The interior includes a private owner's deck, four guest rooms and a full suite of VIP suites on the main deck. The interior also includes a climate-controlled wine cellar that can store up to 500 bottles.

Her top speed is 18.0kn and her power comes from two 2375.0hp Caterpillar 3516-C diesel engines.

# 2. Aurora Borealis  is a 67.1 m / 220′2 ″ luxury motor yacht. She was built by Amels in 2019.

With a beam of 12.28 m and a draft of 3.85 m, she has a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. This adds up to a gross tonnage of 1574 tons. She is powered by Caterpillar engines of 4712 hp each giving her a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots. Aurora Borealis's maximum range is estimated at 5000 nautical miles.

The motor yacht can accommodate 12 guests in 6 cabins with an interior design by Winch Design and an exterior design by Tim Heywood.

# 3. 85-meter explorer superyacht  Bold, the largest vessel ever built in Australia.

Described by the yard as ‘a fast world explorer vessel with a genuine, fully-fledged superyacht finish’, Bold features all-aluminum design.

The design team has opted for a straight bow, a feature that seems to gain popularity. Benefits of this particular bow shape include an increased interior volume due to the longer waterline length, as well as decreased resistance resulting in a higher speed. Thus, Bold reaches her top speed at 24 knots and cruises comfortably at 18 knots up to 5,000 nautical miles.

Bold will provide accommodation for up to 18 guests in eight cabins, which includes an owner’s suite, three VIPs and four guest cabins. The contemporary interiors will include teak and oak paneling, metallic painted features combined with oak and marble floors.

The Bold super-yacht is the largest high-speed and efficient engine building project and is the result of a collaboration with the designer Espen Oeino. Its interiors can accommodate up to 16 guests and were designed by Andreas Helnburger from the German studio Vain Interiors.

Tested during her first voyage, Bold's hydrodynamics were designed for high-speed long-haul flights. Power for this is provided by two compact engines MTU 16V 4000 M73L, each of which develops a power of 2880 kW.

# 4. 77-meter Feadship Syzygy 818 features naval architecture by Feadship De Voogt, exterior design by Jamsen and interiors by Sinot Yacht Design. The superstructure was led by KK Superyachts directly at the Feadship Royal Van Lent Kaag in the Netherlands.

Jämsén describes the design as straightforward and discreet. It was inspired by the Japanese design of the Sinot Yacht Design.

The highest priority for Jämsén in designing Syzygy 818 was to make the yacht comfortable for the owner, and as a result added features that had never been included in the Feadship, such as handrails with push buttons on the balcony and the front door owner in the VIP cabin on the upper deck.

The author tried to make the design calm and elegant. As for details, they were supposed not to be evident. Only when all these features were achieved, Jämsén considered his project successful.

With a beam of 11 meters, yacht boasts a steel hull and aluminum superstructure and boasts double-curvature glass windows drawing plenty of light inside. With impressive interior volume of 1,592 GT, the superyacht can sleep up to 12 guests and 18 crew members on-board. Techno wise is capable of a maximum speed of 18.4 knots, thanks to twin MTU 16V 4000 M63 engines.
