Constructed entirely in aluminum, the elegant silhouette of the super yacht was created by designer Fulvio De Simoni in collaboration with Wider Founder and CEO, Tilli Antonelli and the in-house WIDER design team. Highly efficient diesel-electric propulsion system combined with Azimuthal pods and the latest technology in Lithium polymer battery power provide various benefits such as reliability, fuel efficiency, greater range, reduced noise, vibration and maintenance, a shallow draft, greater flexibility of interior layout and twelve hours of complete silence at anchor using battery power alone.
Offering numerous relaxation spaces, The WIDER 150 boasts more than 350m2 of external areas for the owner and guests to enjoy and relax.
The WIDER 150's beach club is larger than any other boat of its size. Easy access to the sea and plenty room for sun lounging is provided there. The marine experience is enhanced by a covered 7m seawater swimming pool. A large sun deck fitted with a full bar, barbeque and spa, makes the ideal spot to entertain guests or sunbathe while enjoying 360° views.
The spacious Owner's Apartment is the largest in her competitive set with 75 square meters and boasts a 4m² sea terrace with special features. The yacht also has a foredeck lounge with an opening roof providing privacy to owner and guests on board. The guest accommodation is equally generous meaning the WIDER 150 is as well suited for charter as for the owner's friends; this consists of four en-suite cabins, 2 VIP's and 2 standard, one the latter also including a Pullman berth for a child.
"Beautiful hand stitched leather now adorns wall panels, pure white Carrara marble enhances the master bathroom, and precious stones are being fitted to compliment the sophisticated and contemporary decor. Even the stainless steel hand rails that are fitted to the upper deck are worthy of note. The contoured lines of the railings perfectly follow the elegant form of the superstructure, a necessary addition to any yacht that usually detracts from the beauty - on the WIDER 150 it is used to enhance it. Guest staterooms below deck have been sealed off now to preserve them in perfect condition, and visitors onboard can experience the sensation of walking through a special yacht that will very soon be united with its natural habitat, the sea."
In front of the wheelhouse, is a concealed foredeck lounge, hidden beneath a watertight hatch on the coachroof; the hatch raises to reveal a spacious entertaining area, complete with sofas and flat-screen TV - perfect as an additional and very private relaxation space for cocktails, movies or even alfresco dining. As for the performance, a range of 3,000nm is expected at a cruising speed of 13 knots, increasing to 4,200nm at the economical speed of 11 knots. The yacht has a maximum speed of 15 knots and can also run at 5 knots when solely using batteries in Zero Emission Mode.
