Today the main exhibition of yachts and boats in the Middle East has opened in Dubai Harbor. The Middle East today is the second region of the world in terms of the number of billionaire yacht owners. They own 12.6% of super- and megayachts, and their combined wealth is an amount of 4.3 trillion dollars.



This year’s event gathers more than 1,000 brands, according to event organizer Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), more than 150 boats and 30,000 visitors. The exhibition is open to visitors every day from 15:00 to 20:00 and will be closing on Sunday, March 5. 


Majesty 111

Gulf Craft is showcasing the new Majesty 111 and Nomad 101 superyachts. Making their global debut at DIBS 2023, the two superyachts are the new leaders in their class. For both yachts fuel efficiency, smart product design, and emissions-reducing technologies are very important keys. Nomad 101 features powerful engines, which, combined with much better fuel efficiency, unlock more adventurous and far-flung destinations for exploration.

Ferretti Yachts 780

The 24-meter Ferretti Yachts 780 is on display for the first time in the region. One of the most popular models of the title brand Ferretti Group, which was restyled in 2022, she is the result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee led by Mr. Piero Ferrari, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, and Ideaeitalia for the interior design. 


Riva 88’ Folgore

For the first time Ferretti Group displayed the sporty Riva 88’ Folgore, Pershing 5X, the first “X Generation” yacht. Visitors also can see Pershing 8X, Ferretti Yachts 670 and Riva Corsaro 100'. 


Fly 68

Azimut will bring four models: Fly 68 and 53, S10 and Grande 27M. Among them the Fly 68, the latest model in the Flybridge series and another collaboration between the shipyard and designers Alberto Mancini and Achille Salvagni will be ‘one of the stars of the show’, expected the shipyard. 


X95

Princess Yachts displays X95, F55, F50, F45, V60 and V50. Characterized by beautifully sculpted surfaces, with long flowing lines that extend from bow to stern, the X95 made a show debut. 


Sunseeker 74 Sport Yacht XPS

The Sunseeker introduces a 74 Sport Yacht XPS. The yacht features dramatic styling and numerous luxurious appointments, available together as part of a limited edition package with twin MAN V12-1900 engines delivering 38 knots.

Ocean Independence is showing the 68m Soaring, Abeking & Rasmussen iconic 2020 megayacht, which was recently listed for sale.


Amels 80

Damen Yachting is promoting the designs of two Espen Oeino-designed Limited Editions, the Amels 60 and Amels 80, while Damen is betting on the SeaXplorer 60 and the Yacht Support 53 escort ship.

Oceanco presents a new Aeolus concept. The Dubai Boat Show will feature the booths of Benetti, Lürssen, Feadship and Lloyd Werft.


Sunreef 60 Power

Polish shipyard Sunreef showcases the iconic Sunreef 60 Power and the all-electric Sunreef 80 Eco flybridge sailing catamaran. The founder of the shipyard, Francis Lapp, will make a presentation at the conference accompanying the exhibition.

At the Dubai International Boat Show, visitors also can see yachts of various lengths and purposes, catamarans, boats, water toys and luxurious cars.

Hargrave Superyachts has launched its new 38-meter tri-deck motor yacht, the Hargrave 125, from its Antalya, Turkey facility. The vessel, designated Project 125, will debut at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival.With a 7.92-meter beam and 1.95-meter draft, the Bahamas-compliant design features a displacement hull optimized for long-range cruising. Stabilization systems operate both at anchor and underway. Porto Cervo Hosts 2025 Swan One Design World Championships
The Yacht Club Costa Smeralda is hosting the 2025 Swan One Design Worlds from June 17-21, featuring 35 teams from 30 nations competing across four one-design classes. The event marks the competitive debut of the ClubSwan 28 class alongside established ClubSwan 36, 42 and 50 fleets."The Swan One Design Worlds highlight the energy and camaraderie of the ClubSwan family," said Luisa Bambozzi, Managing Director of ClubSwan Racing. "Porto Cervo provides the ideal setting to combine world-class racing with vibrant shoreside activities."The regatta features defending champions in multiple classes, including Mamao (ClubSwan 36) and Nadir (ClubSwan 42). Notable entries include Leonardo Ferragamo's Cuordileone and Marcus Brennecke's Hatari in the ClubSwan 50 division. New M60GL Performance Cruiser Announced by Mylius Yachts
Italian yacht builder Mylius Yachts has revealed details of its new M60GL sailing yacht, an 18.5-meter performance cruiser-racer designed by Giovanni Ceccarelli. The first unit is currently under construction for a European owner, with delivery scheduled for 2026.The M60GL features a carbon fiber hull with Corecell core construction, combining racing performance with cruising comfort. The design includes a 24-meter carbon mast supporting a 120 sqm mainsail and 325 sqm gennaker, with deck hardware from Harken Racing GP. The yacht's 5.5-meter beam provides expanded social areas while maintaining competitive sailing characteristics."Ceccarelli has captured the owner's brief perfectly, blending innovation with our family feeling of speed, beauty and comfort," said Mylius Yachts CEO Valentina Gandini. Amels 80 Begins Sea Trials Ahead of Summer Delivery
Damen Yachting has commenced sea trials for the first 80-meter Amels Limited Editions superyacht, marking the final phase before its scheduled summer delivery. The vessel represents the latest addition to the Amels series, featuring hybrid propulsion technology designed to reduce emissions and enable quieter operation.Project manager Romke van der Linde stated: "The sea trials offer a unique opportunity to experience firsthand the innovation, design, and power that this yacht delivers." The trials will evaluate the yacht's performance, including its hybrid system's efficiency and operational capabilities.The Amels 80 incorporates design elements focused on sustainability alongside traditional Dutch shipbuilding techniques. The yacht's technical specifications and interior layouts remain undisclosed, though Damen Yachting confirms the vessel maintains the Limited Editions' standard configuration options.Construction of the Amels 80 began at Damen's Vlissingen facility, with the hull and superstructure completed before the start of outfitting. The sea trials will be conducted in the North Sea, with final delivery to the owner expected following successful completion of all tests.Damen Yachting currently has multiple Amels Limited Editions models in various stages of construction at its Dutch shipyards. Italian Marine Industry Representative Elected to European Boating Federation Board
The European Boating Industry (EBI) federation has elected Fabio Planamente, Vice President of the Italian Marine Industry Association, as Special Representative for the Large Yacht Sector during its General Assembly in Hamburg. Planamente will serve a two-year term on the EBI board alongside newly elected President Robert Marx (VMWD/Germany) and other European industry leaders."I am honored to have received this assignment," said Planamente. "This role recognizes the work carried out by our President Piero Formenti during his terms leading EBI, and confirms Italy's strategic position in the global yacht sector." The Italian delegation will focus on US/EU tariffs and new propulsion technologies during the upcoming term.Fabio PlanamenteThe Assembly saw EBI formalize new partnerships with the European Fishing Tackle Trade Association and Foundation for Environmental Education, while establishing a permanent Life Cycle Assessment working group.
