Columbus Yachts has announced the launch of M/Y Frette, the second 43-meter unit of its new Atlantique line. Named after the renowned Italian craftsmanship brand Frette, the vessel features Frette Bespoke linens, adding a touch of luxury and sophistication.
Frette boasts a steel hull combined with an aluminium superstructure, with a maximum beam of 9.05 meters and a tonnage of approximately 460 GT. The yacht’s design, by the Hot Lab studio, offers an interior layout tailored to the owner's needs and combines sophisticated materials in a fluid, aesthetically pleasing form. The naval engineering was a collaboration between Columbus Yachts and Hydro Tec studio.
The exterior design of the Atlantique 43m line is characterized by smooth, seamless shapes that evoke a nutshell or an artfully carved stone, blending elements of both motor yachts and classic sailing boats. This streamlined design confers a natural elegance and enhances the yacht's functional and aesthetic appeal.
Frette features large outdoor areas that seamlessly integrate with spacious indoor environments, ensuring total contact with the surrounding landscape. The yacht’s "sailing-type" stern is a distinctive feature, highlighted by a 5-meter-long central swimming pool situated just 50 cm above sea level. This design choice, along with the addition of lateral folding side wings, enhances the sense of direct contact with the water.
Accommodation on Frette includes five double cabins, three twin cabins, and two VIP cabins that can be combined to form a VVIP suite, all equipped with private bathrooms. The lower deck also houses crew quarters, including three double cabins, a crew mess, and laundry facilities. The yacht is equipped with a 5.5m tender stored at the stern and a garage on the starboard side. The main deck forward accommodates a second tender (rescue boat) and two jet skis.
Powered by two 970kW Cat C32 Acert engines, Frette can reach a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots.
This model will be on display at the Fall 2024 Cannes and Monaco Boat Shows.

In early 2019, the shipyard launched the new flagship Columbus Classic 80m M/Y Dragon, which joins in the Columbus star-studded fleet with the award-winning Sport Hybrid 40 Divine, the 57m M/Y Taiba and the 40m M/Y Eleonora III. The Columbus range offers four different lines: Sport, Classic, Crossover and Custom for unique projects. Currently, Palumbo Superyachts comprises a representative office in Monaco and a logistics network of five shipyards in the Mediterranean (Ancona, Malta, Marseille, Naples and Savona), operating under just as many world-renowned brand names: ISA Yachts, Columbus Yachts, Mondomarine, Extra Yachts and Palumbo SY Refit.
