Vicem Yachts has introduced the Tuna Masters 37 Express, a new addition to its Tuna Masters series. Building on the success of the 37 CC launched in 2023, the 37 Express combines the robust hull and sportfishing capabilities of its predecessor with a spacious lower cabin, enhancing its appeal for both family cruising and serious fishing.
The 37 Express retains the high-performance hull and key sportfishing features of the 37 CC, such as multiple pole holders and a live bait tank. However, it distinguishes itself with a sleek wraparound windscreen under a hardtop, creating a more cruiser-like experience. The boat is powered by triple Mercury 350 engines, delivering a top speed of 46 knots and a cruising speed of 38 knots, ensuring quick and efficient travel to fishing grounds.
The collaboration between Vicem Yachts and American naval architecture studio DLBA Architects has resulted in a 36’ 11” LOA vessel with an impressive 12’ 3” beam. The 37 Express boasts a 400-gallon fuel capacity and a 45-gallon live bait tank, making it well-equipped for extended trips.
On deck, the 37 Express features an aft-facing triple-seater bench behind the helm, a helm chair, and wraparound guest seating to starboard. The aft cockpit includes a built-in bait well and a separate platform for landing catches, keeping the cockpit dry. The wraparound windscreen and enclosed cockpit provide a safe environment for families with children.
Below deck, the 37 Express offers 6’ 6” headroom and a versatile accommodation layout. The port-side galley includes a sink and microwave, while the starboard side features a spacious head with shower. The forward berth can be configured as twin berths or a full double V-berth, catering to different sleeping preferences. The interior, finished in teak with quality craftsmanship, reflects Vicem’s superyacht building expertise.
Vicem Yachts commented, “The Tuna Masters 37 CC has garnered considerable acclaim since its debut in early 2023. Now, we're thrilled to introduce the Express version, which strikes the perfect balance between a serious sportfisher and a safe family cruiser. It boasts a well-designed hull and delivers impressive performance of 45-plus knots thanks to the triple Mercurys.”
The first Vicem Tuna Masters 37 Express is currently located in Puerto Rico and is available for viewings.
