On 9th of March, Turquoise Yachts’s floating dock— with a 2500- ton lifting capacity— transferred the 77- meter NB63 from its Kocaeli facility to its yard in Pendik for final outfitting.
This new yacht, designed by H2 Design Ltd, is on schedule for sea trials in twelve months with delivery expected in the second quarter of 2018. With all mechanical installations and rough joinery work in place, the interior installation, final outfitting, and top coat paint application will now be completed at Turquoise’s Pendik facility in Istanbul.
This new 77-metre is a modern evolution from Turquoise Yachts’ 2012 award-winning 72m motoryacht Vicky. Technologically advanced and well proportioned, she will be the largest yacht designed and built by Turquoise to date.
Although she bears a family resemblance to Vicky, her profile is sleeker, cleaner and incorporates a stretched arch that runs all the way around the aft of the vessel. Her extra length and increased beam has made room for an additional owner’s deck with a forward facing suite that has uninterrupted views over the bow and access to a private outside deck area with spa pool.
The interior has impressive levels of accommodation with flexibility for up to 18 guests. From the grand lobby you have the option of using a staircase or the full-sized elevator. On the main deck, you’ll find the salon and formal dining area as well as the guest suites. All main deck areas have large windows. Some of the guest suites have the flexibility to interconnect.
In order to ensure a relaxed yacht experience for the owner and his guests, the 77-metre can carry up to 20 crew members, who are in turn extremely well catered for with two lounges and their own gym.
Other impressive features aboard include a generous sundeck with 5m pool and a beach club (162m2) aft with direct access to the sea from port, starboard and aft. Forward of the beach club on the lower deck, the central tender garage can accommodate 2 tenders, a limo tender up to 10m and a multipurpose tender up to 8m. The elevator services all decks from garage/galley to the sundeck.
Turquoise Yachts has recently revealed more details about the 56-meter motoryacht under construction at the shipyard's facilities. Designed by André Hoek, she is built to be an exploration yacht of the 21st century.
