Baglietto, La Spezia-based Italian builder, is proud to announce the awaited launch of the new 54m displacement yacht hull â„–10219, which took place last Saturday, on January 16, 2016 in the presence of the yacht's European owner, shipyard workers and several civil and military personnel. Based on the tested 53 metre platform, the new yacht was designed by Francesco Pazkowski with a unique interior by Margherita Casprini. The yacht draws inspiration from the yard's line of 53 metre yachts, such as Blue Scorpion, Gitana (now Blanca) and Baraka (now Burkut), but features a higher volume and restyled lines.
In terms of the accommodation, Baglietto's steel and aluminum Project 10219 can sleep up to 10 guests in 5 cabins, including an owner's suite on the main deck and four guest cabins, all positioned on the lower deck. The vessel also carries a highly trained crew of 11.
The brand's displacement line is soon to include fast planing yachts, boasting streamlined, aggressive profile. In April 2016, the first 46m model is expected to hit the water. This will represent the shipyard at next year's international boat shows.
As for the performance, two Caterpillar 3512B engines allow the superyacht to reach a top speed of approximately 17 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots.
