The third hull of Pershing 140 was launched on April 29th by Ferretti Group. The brand’s first flagship was built entirely from aluminum, and also the first one that was built at the Super Yacht Yard in Ancona, the Ferretti Group production facility specializing in the construction of steel and aluminum super and mega yachts over 40 meters in length.
The yacht is a result of collaboration between architect Fulvio De Simoni, Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, and the Group Engineering Department.
The yacht extends across two main decks and a generous sun deck, and on an aesthetic level confirms the signature sleek lines that epitomize the brand's sporty personality. A combination of novel design features and iconic detailing – such as the two side wings incorporated in the superstructure at the start of the walkways – turns the Pershing 140 into a truly unique model.
The Pershing 140 yacht boasts a raised bridge on the main deck with direct access to the sun deck, which can be customized to include a bar, sunbathing area, and a second helm station. The beach club, located aft of the engine room, is a popular area for owners, offering an intimate connection to the water and the ability to showcase their water toys. The yacht's main deck features a comfortable lounge that serves as an ideal transition between the interior and exterior spaces.
The owner of the third unit has personalized this area by adding a professional winery in the bow and a fully appointed bar with independent lighting hidden behind specially textured lacquered doors. The full-beam master suite, accessed through a private study, offers a small lounge area, a walk-in wardrobe, and a large bathroom with a steam shower finished entirely in mother-of-pearl lacquer.
The onboard decor is fully customizable, with the owner of the third unit opting for Pershing-style interior design with paler color tones. White lacquer is used extensively to create a brighter and more relaxing space, complemented by lead-colored wood and light gray furnishings from luxury brands like Poltrona Frau, Minotti, Artemide, Roche Bobois, Molteni, and Fontana Arte.
The Pershing 140 yacht is equipped with four MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, each rated at 2,600 hp, providing a top speed of 38 knots and a cruising speed of 35 knots.
The Ferretti Group, led by Chief Executive Officer Alberto Galassi, is now one of the world’s leaders in the construction and sale of luxury yachts and pleasure vessels, with a unique portfolio of brands: Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing, Itama, Mochi Craft, CRN, Custom Line and Wally.
