Amels will be showcasing the Amels 180, the most successful yacht in its class, at the Monaco Yacht Show from 26 to 29 September. The 55-metre yacht named Eji became the 22nd Amels 180 from the Amels Limited Editions range following her delivery in May this year. The owner is enjoying a long summer season on board before the yacht heads to Monaco to showcase the Amels 180 design at the prime T-Central berth. The next available Amels 180 is now under construction for delivery in summer 2019.
"The Amels 180 has been the world's best-selling 55-metre yacht design since 2007," comments Amels Commercial Director Rose Damen. "We've been able to do that through constantly evolving and introducing new features to the proven, reliable Limited Editions platform. Eji is a beautiful showcase of the advantages that our Limited Editions approach to yacht building brings for our clients, including a very smooth build and fast delivery. We even delivered Eji a week earlier than scheduled." Amels completed the sale of Eji in 2017 with the client represented by Burgess. The highly sought-after Tim Heywood exterior design is complemented by an interior design by Laura Sessa. The next available Amels 180 offers her owner many exterior and interior customisation possibilities to suit the owners individual lifestyle.
The Amels 180 stands out with a unbeatably large Sun Deck, covering 180 square metres. At 28 metres in length (92 ft) with a 7-person jacuzzi, the top deck is the largest you'll find on any comparable yacht.
The addition of a large Swim Platform and Beach Club, plus 3 folding balconies, ensures there are always plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy. The Owners Suite with folding balcony is a beautiful space to wake up with the sound of the sea, fresh breezes and an al fresco breakfast.
The full body Bridge Deck Sky Lounge has large deep windows and sliding doors opening up to the aft deck, creating a light and airy indoor/outdoor space to enjoy with family and friends.
The Amels 180's ocean-going steel hull with in-house Amels naval architecture has been proven in more than a million nautical miles of global voyages - from Southeast Asia to Svalbard and the Arctic Circle - giving owners full confidence to enjoy unique experiences and destinations around the world. The full displacement yacht with 671 Gross Tonnage ensures the highest standard of comfort at sea without compromise on storage and crew facilities for extended periods of full luxury service without port call. It has proven reliability, low maintenance and high safety above and beyond the international safety norms required for yachts over 500 Gross Tonnage. In addition to Eji, Amels will also be showcasing 57.7-metre Volpini 2, the first Amels 188, at the Monaco Yacht Show. Damen will host the 55.5-metre Yacht Support vessel Power Play at the show.
