Marco Ferrari & Alberto Franchi are proud to present the new 52m sailing superyacht concept Blue Sapphire, a design that has been created for the Perini Navi Award organised by Comitato Leonardo. The forward main deck hosts large garage with the main tender of 6 metres, which can be easily transformed into a second cockpit. The stern presents a jacuzzi with a waterfall surrounded by a double-stair connecting the main deck to the beach club, while underway the water is pumped out and the stern platform is closed.
The yacht can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests across 4 double guest cabins, with the possibility to switch a cabin into a gym. The owner's suite boasts two skylights, an ample lounge area, studio and two luxurious bathrooms in a total space of 42,5 sqm.
Forward on the lower deck, there are five crew cabins for 8 crew members, including the captain's cabin and his office, plus a galley and a laundry. Aft on the lower deck, a second garage can be found, housing the service tender of 4,5 metres, with a great range of water toys.
The vessel presents a carbon fibre sloop rig with EC6 rigging, with a mast of 64.5 metres. The hybrid propulsion allows Blue Sapphire to easily enter in protected areas and, at the same time, lowers the consumption and the noise.
