The Italian Sea Group has announced the details of the Admiral Quaranta line, with the first unit sold in May, shortly after the project was unveiled. This 40-meter superyacht, a collaboration between Monaco-based studio The A Group and the Italian Sea Group’s Centro Stile, expands the Group’s semi-custom Admiral offerings while maintaining the brand's signature style and elegance.
Admiral Quaranta is notable for its large volumes and high-quality construction, comparable to a 60-metre yacht. The superyacht features two owners' staterooms and four large guest/VIP staterooms, accommodating up to two families for extended stays. The yacht offers a comprehensive experience, balancing living, working, and recreational spaces.
The yacht's external lines are contemporary, blending curved, tense, and soft lines with more defined straight lines, resulting in an elegant and timeless look. With a shallow draft and a flexible layout, the Quaranta is suitable for sailing in the Bahamas and the Caribbean, both for charters and family cruises. The yacht is constructed with an aluminium hull and superstructure, optimising weight to reduce consumption and enhance environmental sustainability.
The interiors of the Quaranta are designed to maximize space and comfort across all three decks. The layout features spacious living areas, cabins, bathrooms, and lounges. The design is suitable for both private use and extended charters, with a sporty yet elegant style defined by a calm color palette and a refined selection of materials. The use of glossy, honey-colored Canaletto oak, paired with rough sanded light oak, creates a luxurious yet casual feel. Light shades of leather and fabrics enhance the natural light from large side windows, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Attention to ergonomic details is evident, with sharp corners avoided and surfaces gently rounded, following a "cocooning" design approach. The yacht includes six guest cabins, with two dedicated to the owner. One owner's cabin is on the main deck, and the larger owner's suite on the upper deck offers exclusive use of the deck and outdoor spaces.
The main deck features a large saloon with a living-dining area and a technologically advanced games area. Three large floor-to-ceiling windows provide uninterrupted views and ample natural light. At the stern, a full-beam staircase leads to a platform that triples the surface area and allows easy access to the sea.
The interior design of the Quaranta line is sporty and youthful, harmonizing with the exterior style through sinuous curves, soft surfaces, and refined details that create an intimate and luxurious atmosphere.
Giovanni Costantino, founder and CEO of The Italian Sea Group, commented on the project: “We managed to create a harmonious synergy in this project thanks to our strong expertise in terms of design, quality, and innovation. At 40 meters, this is the only superyacht currently on the market in its category to offer a six-cabin layout as an added value.”
