Since 1977, the Cannes Yachting Festival takes place every September in elegant, luxurious surroundings in the sparkling bay of Cannes.
As the first show in the boating season, the Cannes Yachting Festival is Europe’s leading in-water boating event. The major players in pleasure yachting come here to launch the show season by showcasing their new worldwide models.
From 10 am, sea lovers, yachting enthusiasts, seasoned visitors or people who are just curious, will be able to discover a world that makes way for the dream of luxury
yachting. The Cannes Yachting Festival, inaugural event of the nautical season, opens its doors today for its 41st edition, and will be welcoming visitors from around the world until 6 pm on Sunday, 16 September.
«After nearly a month of fitting and installation, we’re ready! As is the case every year, we’ve put all the necessary means in place to enable visitors to discover the very best of the French and international offer in luxury yachting and monohull or multihull motorboats or sailing boats. The show brings together nearly 620 boats, from 5 to 55 metres, including more than 235 in a world preview. New boats are displayed at the Vieux Port and the large second-hand boats (from 22 metres), as well as the nautical toys sector, at Port Canto. Visitors can use the various types of sea and land shuttles provided to get from one port to another easily. However, we recommend they take the boat to enjoy a fleeting moment on the water, with a magnificent view of the Croisette and the bay of Cannes”, says Sylvie Ernoult, Director of the Cannes Yachting Festival.
A must-see event for luxury yachting for more than 40 years, the Cannes Yachting Festival brings together more than 50,000 visitors from around the world and more than 500 exhibitors every year. With an eclectic offer, the show displays new boats, from the smallest (a hundred or so semi-rigid boats will be on display) to the largest boats (more than 150 yachts displayed in-water exceeding 20 metres long), sailing boats (more than 110 monohull and multihull boats) and large secondhand yachts (brokerage) of around fifty metres. The Cannes Yachting Festival brings together all the major players in
yachting that come to exhibit nearly 120 new models in world previews.
