Ocean Independence is listing the Soel Senses 62, a sustainable and innovative solar electric catamaran built in the Netherlands. This yacht is an entry-level option for owners who want a sustainable and compact yacht. Unlike other eco-yachts that have been converted from combustion engines to electric motors, the Soel Senses 62 was designed to be electric from the start. She has slender hulls for low resistance, lightweight construction engineering, and seamless system integration.

The catamaran incorporates impressive design features, including 42 solar panels that generate 18.5 kWp of energy, clever use of glass throughout, and silent cruising capabilities. The Soel Senses 62 is perfect for exploring picturesque coastlines in total tranquility. While the electric motors offer a serene cruising experience, once at anchor, the solar panels will power the yacht's hotel requirements without the need for a noisy generator to be running.

The yacht boasts a dynamic and elegant exterior coupled with a contemporary and inviting interior design that can be personalized to the owner's wishes. With ample options for sun-soaking, including the aft deck, forward-facing deck with a recessed lounge, and stern-facing flybridge sun deck, the design is characterized by outdoor living. The yacht's al fresco dining and lounging options are available on every level, and there is even the option to spec the yacht with an open or enclosed flybridge.

Adrian Soos, a CA broker at Ocean Independence for the Soel Senses 62, said, "With this innovative yacht, we are deliberately targeting a new generation of owners and combining the trends towards catamarans and yachting that is as environmentally friendly as possible."

A model of the Soel Senses 62 will be on display at the upcoming Palma International Boat Show.
