Over the last few days the technical launch of the second Custom Line Navetta 28 was held at the Marina dei Cesari, in Fano (Italy).
The maxi yacht, built at Ferretti Group's shipyard in Mondolfo (Pesaro-Urbino, Italy), is the second in Custom Line's semi-displacement series that made her debut last Fall at the Cannes, Monaco and Genoa boat shows. This second Navetta 28 is the “sister” of the renowned Navetta 33 and fully embodies the DNA of the brand and of the whole series, which is effectively put across by the claim ‘Go, anywhere’ and has been expressed for over 20 years now by tailor-made maxi yachts and designed to cover long-range cruising enjoying every single minute of it. The Owner has chosen a very warm metal grey, renamed “Terra di Capri”. This original and stylish colour soberly combines with the alternating white shade and the large glazing on the superstructure.
Interior décor is by Dutch designer Eric Kuster, one of the most renowned designers in Europe, who worked in close cooperation with Centro Stile Ferretti Group and Studio Zuccon International Project to create a real 'floating villa' that would meet her Owner's wishes and taste.
The Navetta 28 really impresses with her fine materials, exclusive furnishings, and original solutions.
The precious leather, lacquered surfaces and several mirror walls elegantly match with ebony.
Other materials include silver and golden mosaics, marble and alabaster, which make every room and environment a real concentration of charm and beauty.
Furniture is a skilful blend of Northern European and Italian style: the items exclusively designed by Eric Kuster himself, indeed, stand side by side with various Made in Italy design objects.
The layout has been partially modified too.
The bar area, which on the first hull was on the main deck, is here in the upper-deck living room.
This solution, together with the magnificent circular sliding glazing system, turns the upper deck into a huge open space overlooking the sea, which from the panoramic cockpit reaches the living area, located amidships. Here, guests can sit down for lunch or dinner, relax in the lounge furnished with free-standing furniture, or sip lovely cocktails with appetizers.
The sun deck - a private area exclusively reserved for the Owner and his guests - has been customized too, installing the controlled-temperature Jacuzzi aft, rather than forward.
Over the next few weeks all technical operations - RINA (Italian Naval Registry) tests, sea trials, verification of onboard systems and equipment - and the interiors will be completed.
The maxi yacht will then be officially delivered to the Owner, from a Northern European country, and then taken to south France, where it will be cruising next summer.
The Custom Line Navetta 28, MCA-certified, can also be used for chartering.
