On July 18 the second Pershing GTX116 was launched in the port of Fano. With her sporty character and a relentless focus on ultimate liveability, the second Pershing GTX116 unit opens up new horizons for the marine experience.
Built for the US market, the second Pershing GTX116 unit is the result of collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari, the design firm headed by Fulvio De Simoni, and the Group’s Engineering Department. She has a hull over 35 meters in length and 7.70 meters in the beam.
With her branded sleek and streamlined profile, which is pointed up in the bow area by a signature style feature that references luxury SUV automotive imagery, she can be identified as an SUY or Sport Utility Yacht. This yacht in the new range is painted the classic Pershing gray, with a special shade of blue for the deckhouse, and features generous glazed surfaces that flood the interiors with natural light.
The main deck of the Pershing GTX116 showcases a spacious lounge adorned with sophisticated, high-end furnishings arranged to maximize the available space. Unlike the first model, this layout includes a conventional dining table, complementing the bar area. The taupe oak parquet by Listone Giordano perfectly matches the warmly colored furnishings, featuring inviting profiles and coordinating with the sand-colored Frau sofa. This generously sized and convivial space is furnished with gloss furniture, boasting a fine finish with a slightly more matt appearance compared to the first unit.
From the lounge, the galley is noticeably more spacious, boasting three fridge units with ample storage space. Warm-colored cupboard doors, such as ivory with tone-on-tone color dots, add to the welcoming ambiance.
Stepping into the cockpit, guests are welcomed by an extending fixed table and, further aft, two teak tables. This second unit features a large bar unit opposite the cockpit table, creating an ideal setting for relaxing moments with uninterrupted views of the water. Forward, the shipyard proposes a 6-person hot tub.
The lower deck houses four guest cabins, including the master suite adorned with a king-size bed by Frau, featuring pecan-colored finishes and ivory accents.
The garage can comfortably accommodate a jet ski and two water toys, while the exclusive 39 sq. m beach club, with a teak deck, opens up through an electro-hydraulic taffrail, connecting the beach area to the swim platform and creating a vast space at the water's edge.
Ascending to the 40 sq. m sundeck via two outdoor stairways, guests are greeted by sportfly furnishings with modular sofas by Minotti. This convivial yet refined layout offers generous spaces to fully relish life on board.
Equipped with a triple water jet propulsion system, the second Pershing GTX116 unit can be paired with three optional MAN V12 2000 engines, each rated at 2,000 mhp, achieving a top speed of 35.5 knots and a cruising speed of 29.5 knots. The standard engines are three MAN V12 1800 units rated at 1,800 mhp.

Bilgin Yachts has revealed interior details of the 49.9-meter Camila, the second hull in its Bilgin 163 series, delivered in May 2024. The yacht was sold in 2023 to a U.S. client through FGI Yacht Group and Bilgin's commercial director Berkay Yılmaz.Unique Yacht Design developed the exterior, featuring extended deck spaces including a 21-meter sundeck and 12-meter bridge deck aft. Italian studio Hot Lab created the interior design, employing champagne, cream and pearl grey tones with wood, metal accents and Italian fabrics."The clean architectural volumes feature soft transitions between materials," said Hot Lab's Enrico Lumini. Notable elements include a full-height glass lobby partition, floating staircase, and sundeck skylight. The six-cabin layout includes a large beach club, with Bilgin claiming 20% more volume than comparable 48-meter yachts."Camila combines distinctive elegance with sportive exterior lines," said Yılmaz, noting the owner's active participation in the design process. No performance specifications or pricing details were disclosed. VisionF Yachts has announced the near-completion of its new 14-meter Superfast 46 performance boat, capable of reaching 80 knots. The model will make its global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 (September 9-14), with the first unit launching in coming weeks.The carbon fiber composite vessel features twin Mercury 450 HP Racing Sportmaster engines with Mercury's Active Trim system and Racing Revolution X propulsion. Its 3.7-meter beam and 0.47-meter draft combine with hydraulic steering and optional joystick controls for high-speed maneuverability.Technical specifications include 600-liter fuel capacity for approximately two hours of operation at maximum speed, Garmin 19" navigation displays, and a Fusion Apollo sound system. Safety systems comprise three bilge pumps and dual fire extinguishers.The Superfast 46 represents a new direction for VisionF, known primarily for luxury catamarans like its electric E-Cat series and aluminum models up to 47 meters. No pricing or delivery timelines beyond the Cannes presentation were disclosed. Turkish shipyard Ares Yachts has introduced its first superyacht, the 62-meter ketch-rigged Simena. The steel-carbon composite vessel will debut at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show (September 24-27) after completing sea trials.Designed to RINA Charter Class C standards, Simena ranks among the world's top 25 largest sailing yachts. Taka Yacht Design developed the exterior, while Design Unlimited created the interior blending classic and contemporary elements. The yacht features teak decks, mahogany joinery, and a hybrid propulsion system enabling silent electric operation up to 6 knots or 14.5-knot top speed with diesel assistance."Simena blends classic ketch elegance with cutting-edge technology," said Piraye Sahinkaya Orhun, Ares Yachts Projects Director. Columbus Yachts has started building its new 48-meter Crossover model at Palumbo Superyachts' Savona shipyard. The steel-hulled explorer with aluminum superstructures follows two previously sold Crossover units (42m and 47m), marking the shipyard's first self-financed project in this series.Designed by Hydro Tec, the vessel features an 8.6-meter beam and 2.75-meter draft, optimized for stability and long-range cruising. The exterior combines explorer-style proportions with a bulbous bow and streamlined stern for ocean-going capability. Key features include a multifunctional aft deck that can store a large tender or convert into a pool and lounge area.Accommodation includes six cabins for 12 guests, with the owner's suite on the upper deck and a VIP cabin on the main deck.
