Saxdor Yachts is making steady progress with the construction of their latest boat, the Saxdor 400 GTO, and she is set to be launched as planned. The Saxdor 400 GTO is the culmination of the shipyard's dedication to crafting boats that are not only sleek and functional but also offer excellent value for money.
Following the Saxdor 400 GTO, the shipyard will commence production of the Saxdor 400 GTC. Both models boast innovative terraces that span half the length of the boat, providing an exceptional environment with balconies that expand the deck space and create a stronger connection to the water.
The Saxdor 400 GTO marks a significant milestone for Saxdor Yachts, known for revolutionizing the sports boat market with its 200 and 320 models. With twin outboard engines, a twin-stepped hull, spacious accommodations, and a full beam wheelhouse, the Saxdor 400 GTO is poised to be a formidable contender in the 40-45ft segment. Sakari Mattila, the Founder, and Chief Designer of Saxdor Yachts expressed excitement about the Saxdor 400 GTO's completion and eagerly looks forward to showcasing her at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival.
The glass transom of the yacht further enhances her connection to the water, providing splendid views over the stern from the comfortable cockpit seating, which is completely modular and can be arranged as desired by the customer, accommodating up to 8 passengers. The boat's close relationship with her surroundings is unparalleled in her class.
The lower deck accommodations are equally noteworthy, offering one of the most spacious forward double cabins and a separate bathroom with standing headroom of over 6ft (1.83m) in the 40ft segment. Both versions of the Saxdor 400 have the same lower deck configuration, with the option to have a kids' cabin beneath the companionway steps and an amidships double cabin, providing comfortable sleeping space for up to four adults.
The wheelhouse of the Saxdor 400 extends to the full beam of the boat, optimizing internal living space, and offering access to the recessed foredeck seating through a forward door. The wheelhouse's sides open up completely, allowing direct access to the side terraces from within, a unique design feature that maximizes the balconies' functionality once deployed.
The Saxdor 400 GTO can be equipped with either twin 300hp Mercury V8 outboard engines or 400hp V10s, providing versatility and performance options for discerning owners.
Since its inception in 2019, Saxdor Yachts has experienced exponential growth, producing over 1000 boats and capturing the industry’s attention with their innovative approach. Now, with the introduction of the Saxdor 400 GTO, Saxdor Yachts aims to make waves in the 40-45 ft sport boat market, leveling up from the game-changing entry-level 200 and mid-range 320 models.
