With five units already sold and under construction, Sanlorenzo has revealed renderings of the first 470 GT aluminum 44Alloy. Boasting the exterior and interior design work of Zuccon International Project, the 44.5m yacht will debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2020.
44Alloy focuses on maximum liveability on board and harmony between interior and exterior. She boasts a large beach club that opens on three sides, providing direct access to the sea, while the foredeck, with its open area, offers multiple possibilities of use.
“I love to see the birth of a new model – says Massimo Perotti, Sanlorenzo Chairman & CEO – to pore over drawings with my colleagues, discuss every single detail and improve, improve again until we finally see the real project and finalize it with the owner, who places his dream in our hands. The most satisfying part is to see later in the water exactly what we had in mind”.
The owner’s cabin is designed as a private apartment of 145 square meters, which is divided into three levels with internal and external zones. The owner's room has a lobby, lounge and a separate exit to the open deck.
The 44Alloy will be officially presented in September at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2020, making its debut as a conceptual renovation of the award-winning 40Alloy, a 40-meter long aluminum model, famous for its folding terraces in the owner’s area, its gull-wing doors on the bridge and its remarkable performances.
The two new superyachts 44Alloy are already under construction at the new imposing Sanlorenzo with 18 other new build projects, which are currently underway at the Sanlorenzo Superyacht Division facility in La Spezia.
Martina Zuccon is reponsible for the interior design of the first 44Alloy currently under construction. The second yacht has interiors by the Florence-based architect Michele Bonan, while the third unit will bear the signature of the French architecture firm Liaigre.
