Italian builder Sanlorenzo has launched the first unit of its 64 Steel class line, the 64 metre Attila. The vessel was sold in July 2016 and built at the yard’s La Spezia facility, becoming the yard’s largest yacht to date and its current flagship.

Sanlorenzo 64 Steel features steel fast displacement hull and aluminium superstructure with exterior lines by Officina Italiana Design. Her key features comprise 78-square-metre beach club on the lower deck and stern-centric main deck. Meanwhile, the large foredeck features a touch-and-go helipad.
The beach club comes fitted with a sauna, hammam, massage room and a gym, and a double stairway connecting the pool, a dining area with a barbecue (specially designed for the Argentinian owner) and the beach club.

Antonio Santella, Vice President Sales & Marketing Superyacht Division at Sanlorenzo, expressed:
The idea between the layout in fact enables us to integrate the main aft deck and beach club as much as possible. This characteristic thus enables us to enjoy both areas, around which the social life on board if focused without separating the guests.
Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini developed design and decoration concept of the 1,600GT interiors in a modern South American style. Attila’s layout includes a private owner's deck, four guest rooms and a full-beam VIP cabin on the main deck, altogether accommodating up to 12 guests. One of the interior trademarks is a climate controlled wine cellar, capable to store up to 500 bottles.

Propelled by twin 2,375 HP CAT 3516C engines, Attila will boast a top speed of 17 knots.
The vessel’s owner commented:
64 Steel Attila’s new owner commented, “In my private and company life, I like to deal with the same people. Building a yacht is a commercial proposition, but it’s also a question of trust. I’ve known Massimo Perotti for years now and having built my last boat with him and his team, the trust was already well-placed. I knew that Sanlorenzo would be able to build the yacht of my dreams.

Sanlorenzo Yachts, 100 percent Italian company since January 2019, launched the 52-metre yacht KD and the 47-metre Ocean Dreamwalker III in 2018. The company’s flagship project was fully constructed within new premises in La Spezia, the new Sanlorenzo Superyacht production facility dedicated to the construction of 40 to 80 metres long metal-hull yachts.
