Following the delivery of the 60-knot Otam 65 HT to her owner last summer, the shipyard has released new images of the exterior and interior.
The new Otam 65 HT has been conceived to meet the specific demands of a passionate yacht owner driven by the desire not to buy a serial product, but to create a brand new design – a true one-off with limitless customization freedom in pure Otam style.
The internal layout and the external cockpit was made by Francesco Guida Design at the customer’s request.
The sporty and iconic aesthetics hull is a result of working with a historical partner like Umberto Tagliavini from Marine Design and Services.
In developing the Otam 65 HT, the Italian yard has stretched its limits by setting the fastest speed ever achieved, reaching a maximum speed of 60 knots and a cruising speed of 50 knots via a bottom with a 21° deadrise at the stern, ensuring unparalleled navigation and yacht handling. Moreover, this model achieves considerably higher fuel efficiency than other boats of the same size currently available on the market, despite the speed for which the Otam yachts are known worldwide.
The hardtop of the Otam 65 HT has been customised with new details according to the owner’s requests. One of most remarkable is the absence of doors leading to the cockpit, which creates a large, open-space area (to better enjoy outdoor life) without affecting any of the yacht’s comforts – for example, the entire area has air conditioning.
Carbon fibre inserts are not just in the hardtop; they can be found in the deck rigging as well (from the anchor to the transom platform), according to the shipyard’s tradition to use technologically advanced materials. Other than creating a chromatic contrast with the white metallic hull, carbon fibre reduces weight, considerably enhancing performance.
The interiors and the details conceived by Francesco Guida Design are fully customised. The elegant geometries that express the cutting-edge style give the vessel a timeless character and, at the same time, mark a new benchmark for interior design in the sport yachting market.
The colours, shapes and materials have been carefully selected to harmoniously coexist, giving the yacht a balanced appearance.
With its two 2000-hp engines, the new Otam 65 HT reaches a maximum speed of 60 knots and a cruising speed of 50 knots and has an impressive fuel efficiency at all speeds.
The shipyard’s history started in 1954 in Liguria. Its professionalism is what made it stand out, very quickly becoming the first authorized Riva yacht Service Center for the Med Sea. In the 80’s Otam fit around 25 yachts for an American builder before starting his own production of Otam 45’ and 55’, earning significant attention.
Today Otam has produced around 90 yachts, becoming an Italian specialist, and, together with its custom range, offers a limitless choice between 45’ and 130’.

Cantieri di Pisa’s refit division has experienced a significant surge in orders, with intense activity reported across over 30 boats currently in progress. The division has witnessed a fivefold increase in sales in 2024 compared to the previous year, reflecting heightened demand for refitting services.Among the notable projects underway are three superyachts built by esteemed manufacturers: a 50-metre Benetti, a 41-metre Feadship, and a 43-metre Perini Navi sailing yacht, all nearing completion. Additionally, Cantieri di Pisa has secured orders for three larger superyachts, each measuring 50, 41, and 43 meters, respectively, which are slated for imminent handover to their owners following extensive refit and renewal work.Marco Massabò, CEO of Cantieri di Pisa, expressed satisfaction with the division’s achievements, emphasizing increased sales and expanded facilities. The refit division’s workspace now spans 24,000 square meters, employing approximately 20 internal staff members, with another 10 specialists soon joining the team. Dutch design studio Mulder Design has revealed Project Sharp, a 50-meter superyacht concept focused on "quality family time." Described as a departure from conventional designs, the concept emphasizes a "fresh perspective" centered on meaningful experiences both on and off the yacht.Project Sharp distinguishes itself with a minimalist, elegant profile defined by sharp lines and expansive glazing, capturing natural light and blending indoor and outdoor environments. Spacious interiors, featuring 2.2-metre-high ceilings and panoramic views, reinforce the connection to the surrounding elements.Externally, the yacht offers various inviting spaces, including a walk-around deck and private sun deck, providing uninterrupted views from multiple angles. Greenline Yachts has taken a significant step in the marine industry by conducting its first full cryptocurrency transaction for the sale of a Greenline 45 Coupe. The deal, finalized at boot Düsseldorf 2025, utilized Bitcoin as the sole payment method, marking a notable advancement for the company.Greenline owner Vladimir Zinchenko noted that while the company had permitted partial cryptocurrency payments since 2018, this transaction represents the first complete cryptocurrency purchase handled by the yard.
