Numarine has introduced advanced soundproofing technology in its 30XP and 45XP explorer yachts, setting a new benchmark for noise reduction in the sub-50-meter yacht category. The shipyard collaborated with Silent Line, a leader in acoustic engineering, to achieve significant advancements in noise attenuation.

The 30XP, unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2024, is now the quietest yacht in its class. Its diesel-electric propulsion system and specially designed acoustic generator enclosure contribute to sound levels as low as 38.1 dBA in the master stateroom while underway at 7 knots, and 23.8 dBA at anchor. These figures place the yacht’s noise levels between the sounds of rainfall and a whisper.

Constructed with a GRP hull, the 30XP features accommodation for up to ten guests, including a full-beam owner’s cabin on the main deck and four VIP cabins on the lower deck. The yacht's aft deck design provides additional headroom and fold-down platforms that expand the lower deck space to 43 square meters.

The upcoming 45XP model builds upon the acoustic advancements of the 30XP. Innovations include lighter and more efficient sound insulation materials, flexible mountings for engines and generators, and improved noise-dampening systems for floating floors, partitions, and ceilings. Silent Line founder Sjaak van Cappellen attributed the results to extensive research and advanced modeling techniques.

Its beach club, aft deck, foredeck lounge, and sun deck provide versatile options for relaxation and entertainment.
