Following its official delivery, the Columbus Atlantique 43 M/Y Night Fury II has embarked on its maiden voyage. This vessel is the first of three constructions from the Atlantique line scheduled for delivery this summer. The steel and aluminium yacht will be showcased at the upcoming Monaco Yacht Show 2024.
With a volume of 462 GT, the Night Fury II features exterior and interior design by Hot Lab studio. The design philosophy, termed "Architecture for Voyagers," integrates stylistic, design, and functional elements to enhance the onboard experience. The naval engineering was developed by Palumbo Superyachts in collaboration with Hydro Tec studio.
The yacht’s most distinctive feature is its "sailing-type" stern. The central swimming pool is surrounded by a C-shaped seating area facing astern. The low transom, just 50cm above sea level, and lateral folding side wings enhance the connection with the water.
The lower deck includes four double cabins, with two VIP cabins featuring private bathrooms, and two twin cabins. The forward section of the lower deck is dedicated to the crew, providing four double cabins, each with a bathroom, as well as a crew mess and laundry area. The captain’s cabin is adjacent to the wheelhouse.
The yacht also includes a 5.5m tender stored at the stern, with a garage on the starboard side. The main deck forward houses a second tender (rescue boat) and two jet skis.
Powered by two 970kW Cat C32 Acert engines, the Columbus Atlantique 43 Night Fury II can achieve a maximum speed of 15.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14.5 knots.
Columbus Yachts was established in 2008. In early 2019, the shipyard launched the new flagship Columbus Classic 80m M/Y Dragon, which joins in the Columbus star-studded fleet with the award-winning Sport Hybrid 40 Divine, the 57m M/Y Taiba and the 40m M/Y Eleonora III. The Columbus range offers four different lines: Sport, Classic, Crossover and Custom for unique projects. Currently, Palumbo Superyachts comprises a representative office in Monaco and a logistics network of five shipyards in the Mediterranean (Ancona, Malta, Marseille, Naples and Savona), operating under just as many world-renowned brand names: ISA Yachts, Columbus Yachts, Mondomarine, Extra Yachts and Palumbo SY Refit.
