The Italian Sea Group introduces the Newgen initiative, marking a significant stride in welcoming recent graduates into the Group's workforce. Commencing a few weeks ago, Newgen is slated to be an annual program for at least the next five years. The initiative entails the meticulous selection of 10 students, primarily from the local area, based on academic and aptitude criteria. These individuals will undergo a comprehensive 6-month trainee program within the Group's 'Quality department.' Throughout the internship, participants will engage with all company departments, taking tailored courses that guide them toward specific roles assigned upon program completion.
Giovanni Costantino, Founder & CEO of The Italian Sea Group, emphasizes the importance of Newgen as a preparatory avenue for talented youth seeking growth in a dynamic and innovative company. With a strong focus on quality, the program instills a sense of active participation from the start, aligning newcomers with the company's work ethos. Newgen complements the Group's existing training initiatives, including courses organized by the TISG Academy in collaboration with esteemed Italian Universities like Trieste, Naples, and the University of La Spezia's Promostudi, reinforcing the Group's commitment to fostering learning and development.
