Sirena Yachts has introduced its latest innovation, the Sirena 118, at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, setting a bold new standard for superyachts. This striking 36-meter GRP vessel is the first in a larger composite series, boasting a waterline length of over 24 meters while staying below the 300GT threshold.
Showcased against the stunning backdrop of Port Hercules, the Sirena 118 is designed with a modern aesthetic, featuring three decks of accommodation topped by a spacious sun deck. Among its alluring amenities are an optional circular pool and lounging area at the bow, alongside a generous beach club at the stern.
The yacht’s distinctive plumb bow not only enhances its visual appeal but also increases the internal volume. The arrangement accommodates a VIP cabin and up to four guest cabins on the lower deck, while the owner's suite occupies a prominent position on the main deck. Remarkably, this suite can extend across two decks, connected by a spiral staircase leading to an expansive relaxation area, complete with a fold-down swim platform.
Social spaces are equally impressive, with an informal dining and lounging area on the main deck that features floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor settings. The upper deck offers more sophisticated dining options alongside a wet bar and a private exterior deck. The vessel is designed to be operated by five crew members, with the flexibility to increase that number to seven thanks to an upper deck captain's cabin.
The underwater profile has been expertly crafted by renowned naval architect German Frers, while in-house designers at Sirena have perfected the exterior lines to reflect the brand’s identity. The interior, conceptualized by Cor D Rover, delivers a timeless and relaxed atmosphere, although customization options are available for owners.
Constructed with GRP, the Sirena 118 promises to be an efficient performer. Standard propulsion is provided by two MAN V12 engines generating 3,100hp, allowing for a top speed of 16 knots and an economical cruising speed of 11 knots. For those seeking greater performance, an upgraded engine option delivering 3,800hp propels the yacht to a thrilling top speed of 21 knots.
Sirena CEO Cagin Genc highlighted the significance of this project, stating, “The Sirena 118 will be the largest GRP yacht we have built to date. This superyacht is meticulously developed to embody the highest expression of the values that have contributed to Sirena Yachts’ global success. With innovative solutions, impeccable engineering, and contemporary style – paired with our appreciation for the yachting lifestyle – we are excited to keep enthusiasts informed as the project progresses towards its completion in 2026.”
