After the changes and delays, which the industry had to face because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is finally more good news. Famous Italian shipyard Rossinavi has just recently presented with a private ceremony in Pisa its latest 52m masterpiece, Florentia.
Rossinavi CEO Federico Rossi says:
A yacht characterised by romantic lines for a timeless elegance that features refined interiors and generous spaces. Florentia is a vessel in which functionality and efficiency are a testament to style.
Florentia is an elegant 800GT motor yacht with a steel full-displacement hull and aluminium superstructure. It is a custom project with exterior design by Rome-based architecture firm Studio Vafiadis whilst Italian designer Carlo Colombo together with his A++ design studio looked after the design and styling of the interior areas.
The spacious interior can offer accommodation up to 12 guests as well as comfortable cabins for a crew of 11. You can walk to the salon and dining room from the main desk, and there is the owner's cabin at the bow. The impressive owner's cabin has two walk-in wardrobes and a private balcony. Another highlight of this room is a striking ring-shaped mirror artwork above the bed to reflect light in all directions. The multi-functional upper deck could turn into a cinema for the guest’s entertainment.
Stefano Vafiadis of Studio Vafiadis comments:
Florentia is the most representative example of a fully bespoke superyacht made in Italy. This is a boat entirely designed and built around the owner and his needs. We’ve been challenged with the difficult brief to create a timeless gem where classic features and shapes meet modern details.
The vessel is powered by two Cat 3512E DITA-SCAC engines of 1,901kW at 1,800 rpm, reaching a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 13.5 knots. Her range is 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
