Benetti adds a new limited-edition yacht to the B.Yond range. The B.Yond Limited Edition, spanning 40 m, cleverly distributes spaces and volumes, and offers comfort comparable to larger mega yachts. Naval Architecture and exterior design was made in collaboration with P.L.A.N.A. Design – Eng. Pierluigi Ausonio. The hull of the B.Yond limited edition features an elegant metallic color called Vulcan Grey, embellished with a distinctive black shield. Further emphasizing its uniqueness, a refined golden waterline graces the boat from stern to bow.
The yacht spreads across four decks with guests' relaxation in mind. One of the notable features is the stern with a spacious, well-equipped area with a sunbathing spot and a scenic infinity pool with a glass bottom.
The main deck of the B.Yond Limited Edition yacht is dedicated to the guests comfort with four elegant VIP cabins featuring double beds, as well as a spacious full-beam master suite. The impressive garage can comfortably accommodate two jet skis, a 6.5-meter tender, and a rescue boat.
Venturing to the upper deck, guests are greeted by a new beach area featuring an enormous open-air lounge adorned with two C-shaped sofas and two coffee tables, covering over 80 sqm of space. A transparent infinity pool of almost 8 sqm provides an awe-inspiring unbroken visual connection with the sea. A second lounge, accessed through a large glazed door, captivates with its spectacular 360-degree panoramic view.
The stern area of the bridge deck offers sunbeds, and the enclosed Hampton-style veranda in the lounge provides privacy and comfort for guests. This area is equipped with audio and video systems, creating a perfect retreat. Towards the deck's forward area, the helm station and control cabin are exclusively reserved for the captain.
Ascending to the sun deck, guests are greeted by a bar and a comfortable outdoor dining area with a table, all shaded by the hard top, alongside an additional sunbathing space.
The lower deck is designated for the crew, accommodating five cabins, including the captain's quarters. An additional cabin can be converted into a gym, a cabin with a bathroom, or a wellness area with a steam bath and/or sauna.
For those seeking sustainability and efficiency, the B.Yond Limited Edition offers the option of the E-Mode Hybrid propulsion system, developed in collaboration with Siemens Energy. This innovative system optimizes energy consumption, making the yacht one of the most sustainable in its class. With four different operating modes, including Full Electric for zero-emission cruising, the yacht can explore ecologically sensitive marine areas while respecting the environment. The B.Yond Limited Edition can achieve fuel consumption and CO2 reductions of up to 24% and NOx emissions reductions of up to 85%.
With an impressive range of 8,200 nautical miles at 9 knots in Eco Transfer mode, almost double that of similarly sized yachts.
B.Yond Limited Edition is available for 12 months starting in June 2023.

Balk Shipyard has announced the relaunch of Ursus, a 30.5-meter yacht transformed into a pocket explorer following an 18-month conversion. Originally built as a sub-24-meter vessel by Acico, the yacht underwent significant modifications at Balk’s facility in Urk, the Netherlands, in collaboration with Mulder Design. Delivery is scheduled for February 2025 after upcoming sea trials.The comprehensive rebuild extended Ursus’ length by six meters and increased interior and exterior volume. The modifications included a new bow and stern, a lengthened superstructure, and enhancements to the main saloon, sundeck, and beach club. Additional features include an upper deck extension, al fresco kitchen, and new wing stations.Improvements were also made to crew accommodations, with an added crew cabin and an en suite in the captain's quarters. Heesen Yachts has finalized the sale of YN 21255, known as Project Angelica, marking another milestone for the Dutch shipyard. The deal, completed on December 30, adds to Heesen’s portfolio of 55-meter Steel series yachts and brings a new level of personalization to the renowned line. The client, an experienced superyacht owner, plans to customize the vessel to align with his lifestyle preferences.The collaborative project will involve Heesen’s specialists, the client’s team, and designers from Luca Dini. The yacht’s 760 GT volume and nearly 400 square metres of interior space offer a platform for tailored modifications, including accommodations for up to 12 guests in seven staterooms.Project Angelica’s engineering highlights include a Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) by Van Oossanen, ensuring efficient fuel consumption and stability in diverse sea conditions. MB92 Group has finalized its acquisition of GYG, a leading painting, service, and supply firm, as part of its strategy to strengthen its presence in the superyacht sector. Sialia Yachts has announced the upcoming launch of the Sialia 45, a 14-meter electric cruiser combining high performance with sustainability. Scheduled for summer 2025, the vessel offers a maximum speed of 43 knots and a class-leading range, emphasizing zero-emission cruising.Powered by twin 300kW electric motors, the Sialia 45 achieves a range of 55 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 25 knots with a standard 500kWh battery pack.
