Moonen Yachts has revealed the interior of its first vessel from the Moonen 110 series, also known as YN202, following successful sea trials near the shipyard's construction site in Den Bosch, the Netherlands.
The new 34-meter model has been described as a "gentleman's yacht," drawing design inspiration from the Moonen 84 and 97 models.
The interior concept, crafted by London-based Studio Indigo, features clean, flowing lines accentuated by curved organic shapes, creating a serene and comforting ambiance. A striking highlight is the sweeping spiral staircase, adorned with fluted natural timbers, positioned at the heart of the yacht's design.
The 267 GT interior accommodates up to 10 guests, comprising a full-beam master stateroom, two VIP cabins, and two convertible twin cabins. The crew quarters include a captain's cabin and two twin crew cabins.
The Moonen 110 boasts ample outdoor living areas, floor-to-ceiling windows in the main saloon, and a spacious bridge optimized for entertainment.
In the engine room, the yacht offers a quiet and fuel-efficient experience, consuming only 60 liters per hour while cruising at nine knots. Powered by twin Caterpillar C18 ACERT engines, the yacht comfortably cruises at 10 knots, boasting a range of 3,500 nautical miles.
With a shallow draft of two meters, the Moonen 110 can access remote destinations such as the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and the Great Barrier Reef. Additionally, this model can store a 7.5-meter tender longitudinally on her 72-square-meter top deck.
Victor Caminada, Moonen's commercial director, emphasized the Moonen 110's timeless beauty and Dutch design excellence, exemplified by beautifully designed spaces, precision engineering, and high-quality craftsmanship.
Moonen Yachts is a yacht builder based in the Netherlands, and its first yacht was built in 1964 under the original yard name of De Ruiter. In 1981, the yard was renamed Moonen Shipyards. It’s launching its first vessel under new ownership: Alhena. In 2017 Moonen Shipyards changed into Moonen Yachts. With the help of strong vision, innovative technology and new designers, Moonen is once again becoming the market leader in 30m to 50m luxury yachts.
