Top Deck 40m represents the latest design to come from the drawing boards of Luiz de Basto. The concept offers the open feeling of a much larger vessel and the total integration between outdoor and indoor living spaces. The vessel incorporates the main features of the Top Deck line, with the fold-down bulwarks, which increase the deck surface and the contact with the water, as well as a flybridge that extends for the entire length of the boat. The upper part of the flybridge is covered with a hardtop, ensuring that guests may make the most of al fresco dining in shade from the sun, or in the open air. A hot tub surrounded by sunbathing cushions can be found at the front.

The yacht's main salon floor-to-ceiling glass doors slide forward and disappear into a pocket and the bulwarks on the main deck fold down to extend the deck area. Similarly, the doors of the owner's stateroom slide forward and the handrail creates a balcony. On the port side, there is a bar, on starboard a gym enclosed in glass and in the very front several sitting areas with a TV that folds down from the ceiling.

The Top Deck 40m is able to sleep up to 12 guests on the main deck over four staterooms as well as a VIP cabin. A crew of 8 can also be accommodated for on board.
