During last week Oceanco launched the 117m Project Y719. The superyacht will be Dutch shipyard’s largest superyacht to date. The Project Y719 was launched from the Oceanco Alblasserdam facility, where she was moved from the construction yard in Zwijnenburg for outfitting.

As well as being the largest yacht under construction in the Netherlands, Y719 is also the largest yacht ever built by the Dutch yard. The vessel has five decks, steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Her interior was penned by Sinot Yacht Design and the exterior design is the work of Espen Oeino.
Project Y719 is scheduled to be delivered in Spring 2022. The 117m superyacht will not remain the largest for long , the Dutch shipyard building the 127m sailing superyacht Project Y721. There were rumors that she was commissioned by Jeff Bezos, Amazon’s founder, but this information was never confirmed.
Earlier this year Oceanco, Pininfarina and Lateral presented a new 90m project Kairos.
Oceanco was founded in 1987. Right now it is a world-class builder of custom superyachts up to the 140 meters range. Oceanco works with world-known designers such as Terence Disdale, Nuvolari-Lenard, Espen Oeino, Sam Sorgiovanni, Igor Lobanov, Tim Heywood and Andrew Winch to create some of the timeless and award-winning yachts afloat today.
